Hyundai will unveil the production IONIQ 3 in April 2026. The compact electric SUV rides on the E-GMP 400V platform, sporting a closed grille, split LED light strips and a fast-back tail with integrated spoiler; a high-performance IONIQ 3 N is slated for 2027.

Chery's new brand, Lepas (pronounced "leap-pass"), announced its official entry into the Malaysian market in the first half of 2026, with the L8 SUV—the rebranded second-generation Tiggo 8—as its initial flagship model. One month after its debut, TQ Wuling has officially commenced local assembly (CKD) of the Bingo EV at Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA) in Segambut—marking the first CKD EV for the plant. With no CBU version offered, production is being ramped up in phases to match market demand. The Bingo EV is available in Pro (RM67,800) and Max (RM72,800) variants, tax-exempt until end-2027. The first 500 buyers receive a RM5,000 rebate, 8-year battery and motor warranties, a 7 kW home charger, and over RM12,000 worth of extras.

FAW Bestune’s Yueyi 03 Xinxiang variant hits the market at RMB 109,900, delivering 565 km CLTC range and 122 kW from a 7-in-1 e-drive, while consuming 11.8 kWh/100 km. Volvo unveiled the EX60 duo—its first SPA3-platform EVs. The 4.8-metre-long, 0.26-drag SUV offers single- or twin-motor layouts, up to 810 km CLTC range and 800 V architecture adding 340 km in 10 min. The Cross Country variant adds air suspension, Frost Green paint and skid plates, raising ride height 40 mm for rough terrain. Production starts this spring in Sweden, with European deliveries this summer.

Spy shots reveal the facelifted Mercedes-AMG SL undergoing cold-weather tests. The 2021-generation roadster gains the brand’s new star-shaped LED headlights and a broader grille, plus a reprofiled bumper, front splitter and intakes for better aero. A prototype rear bumper and exhaust borrowed from the Maybach SL 680 hint at further revisions before launch.
