MG Motor Unveils Next - Generation MG4 EV for 2025

MG Motor has unveiled the next - generation MG4 EV on Weibo, set to be its first global model for 2025. Compared to the outgoing model, the new MG4 features a more subdued design, with less aggressively angled headlamps and a honeycomb mesh grille. The vehicle measures 4,395/1,842/1,551mm with a wheelbase of 2,750mm, making it longer and wider than the previous model (4,287/1,836/1,516mm with a 2,705mm wheelbase). The new MG4 is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a rear - mounted electric motor with a maximum power of 163PS, with a top speed of 160km/h. The MIIT filing also indicates that MG has applied for two additional badges for this car – MG3 and E5.

BYD Launches City EV “Atto 1” in Indonesia: 300 km NEDC, From IDR 250 Million

On 15 July, BYD unveiled the Indonesian-market Atto 1—a rebadged global Seagull—at GIIAS 2025. The city EV packs a 30 kWh Blade battery, 55 kW/135 Nm motor and 300 km NEDC range, priced IDR 250–350 million. Standard kit includes ESC, ABS and cruise control. Public display runs 24 Jul–3 Aug at ICE BSD; BYD Indonesia reports 80–90 % readiness for the event.

BBA H2 2025 Product Blitz: Mercedes Fields Six, BMW Debuts iX3, Audi Leads with Q6L e-tron

Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi will launch close to ten key models in the second half of 2025. Mercedes brings the 800 V EQA LWB sedan, Shooting Brake and GLC EV with up to 866 km range. Refreshed Honda HR-V Launched in Malaysia: Subtle Styling Tweaks, Added Kit from RM115,900

Honda Malaysia today debuted the refreshed HR-V in four trims—1.5 S, E, V and RS e:HEV—priced from RM115,900 to RM143,900. Subtle exterior tweaks include a new grille and revised LED taillights, while kit gains 18-inch alloys, Qi wireless charger and auto wipers.
