The second-generation Kia Seltos officially launched in Indonesia at GIIAS 2026 with three variants. The Trendy starts at 359 million rupiah (about RM81k), followed by the Prestige+ ADAS at 417 million rupiah (RM94k) and GT Line at 469 million rupiah (RM106k). All three variants are powered by a 1.5L Gamma II naturally-aspirated engine, Euro 4 compliant, paired with Kia's Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT/CVT), producing 115PS (85kW) at 6,300 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The model debuted globally last December, about seven months before its Indonesian launch.

Indonesia is a huge market for Wuling, so the 2026-facelift Hongguang Mini EV (debuted China February) launches in Indonesia as the Wuling Aira at GIIAS 2026. The Bingo-like face is gone, now featuring wide-eyed design with chrome-rimmed spectacles, charging flap on nose, rear mirroring front. Dimensions 3,2681,5501,575mm, wheelbase 2,190mm—even a Kancil's wheelbase is longer—making it smaller than the already-diminutive Bingo. Four-leaf clover hubcaps (13-inch steel wheels), rear-wheel drive with no frunk, tyres 155/70.

445M IDR/First CKD Hybrid Mitsubishi Xforce HEV Launches in Indonesia
Following its launch earlier this month, the Mitsubishi Xforce HEV made a public appearance at GIIAS, priced at 445 million rupiah (about RM101k), higher than petrol-only Exceed (388M IDR) and Ultimate (399M IDR). The Xforce HEV is Mitsubishi's first hybrid model in Indonesia and first locally assembled (CKD) hybrid, produced by PT MMKI in Bekasi Regency, West Java. While Indonesia gets both hybrid and petrol variants, Malaysia receives only petrol while Thailand gets hybrid-only.
