Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Revealed, 90-Degree Doors and Sliding Center Console
Xiaomi revealed more details and interior images of the Pengcheng N90 Max, to officially launch on the evening of July 30. Rear doors open 90 degrees for easy boarding. First and second rows face each other for equal comfort. The sliding center console moves between rows with an eco table, instantly creating a four-person tea table. Third-row cushions fold away and second-row seats slide back extensively for generous legroom.
BMW iX3 L Launching Malaysia August 6: Wheelbase 3,005mm, First Neue Klasse Production
MW Group Malaysia announced the BMW iX3 L will officially launch in Malaysia on August 6, the first production model of the Neue Klasse series. Produced in BMW's Shenyang plant (benefiting from EV import tax incentives), the L gains 108mm wheelbase to 3,005mm and stretches to 4,900mm in length. Features include hidden pop-out door handles, monochromatic interior, thicker and longer seats, and rear seat recline up to 121 degrees. The exterior closely follows the Vision Neue Klasse X concept, retaining the illuminated vertical kidney grille and classic Logo recess design.

PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor unveiled the facelifted XL7 three-row seven-seater SUV at GIIAS on July 29, to be produced at Cikarang Plant for domestic and export markets. New front grille and bumper enhance its commanding presence. Interior features redesigned door trims and instrument panel for a premium cabin. Upper-grade models offer a two-tone color scheme including new Ice Gray.

From 303M IDR/Third CKD Hybrid Toyota Veloz Hybrid Launches in Indonesia
Toyota Veloz Hybrid at GIIAS 2026, half a year after its first unveiling at GIIAS Jakarta Auto Week. It's the third Indonesian-assembled Toyota hybrid (after Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross Hybrid) and cheapest, undercutting the Yaris Cross Hybrid from 399M IDR. Powertrain matches Vios/Yaris Cross Hybrid: 91PS/121Nm 1.5L 2NR-VEX engine, 80PS/141Nm electric motor, 111PS combined output, E-CVT, 0.7kWh battery. Four variants: V, Q, Q Modellista, Q TSS Modellista priced 303-389M IDR (RM69k-88k). TSS includes AEB, ACC, blind spot detection, lane departure warning/prevention, rear-cross traffic alert, and pedal misoperation control.

Indonesia Coolray Launch Pre-Facelift Exterior, New Interior, Malaysia Production
The Geely Coolray launched in Indonesia is the twin to Proton X50. The exterior uses Malaysia's pre-facelift X50 design with Geely badges, matching 18-inch wheels and large rear spoiler from the facelifted model. The interior matches Malaysia's new X50 with panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 8.88-inch digital cluster, 14.6-inch display, electric leather seats, and red-black dual-tone interior. VIN confirms production by Proton Malaysia for export to Indonesia.

445M IDR/First CKD Hybrid Mitsubishi Xforce HEV Launches in Indonesia
Following its launch earlier this month, the Mitsubishi Xforce HEV made a public appearance at GIIAS, priced at 445 million rupiah (about RM101k), higher than petrol-only Exceed (388M IDR) and Ultimate (399M IDR). The Xforce HEV is Mitsubishi's first hybrid model in Indonesia and first locally assembled (CKD) hybrid, produced by PT MMKI in Bekasi Regency, West Java. While Indonesia gets both hybrid and petrol variants, Malaysia receives only petrol while Thailand gets hybrid-only.
