The ninth-generation Toyota Hilux has launched in Japan, offered in Z and Z Adventure trims priced at 4,980,800 yen and 5,500,000 yen respectively. Powered by a 1GD-FTV 2.8L four-cylinder turbodiesel producing 204PS/500Nm, it pairs with a six-speed automatic and part-time 4WD. Built on the IMV ladder frame platform, it features electric power steering, rear disc brakes, and the new Multi-Terrain System with selectable drive modes. A 360-degree camera with underfloor view and a rear locking differential are also standard.

Arcfox has launched the Wendao V9, the first MPV under its premium Wendao product line, with four variants priced from RMB 194,800 to RMB 249,800 under limited-time offers. Positioned as a mid-large EREV MPV, it measures 5,300 mm by 1,980 mm by 1,850 mm with a 3,200 mm wheelbase. The cabin features a 22-speaker sky-channel audio system and second-row independent zero-gravity massage seats with 16-point massage, roof-mounted screens, tray tables, and a refrigerator. Intelligent driving is handled by the Yuanjing ADAS supporting urban and highway NOA navigation. The chassis employs a self-developed magnetorheological damping system with all-aluminium suspension and rear-wheel steering. Power comes from a 1.5T range-extender paired with an electric motor, delivering 227 kW combined peak power, 310 km CLTC electric range, and 1,330 km combined range, with a CATL Yaoyao LFP battery supporting 3C fast charging for 20%-80% replenishment in 15 minutes.

The Maextro S800 Grand Design special edition will make its debut at the Greater Bay Area Auto Show on May 29.
