Spy shots of Lexus' first three-row electric flagship SUV TZ (possibly named TZ9) have been exposed. Based on Toyota's electric Highlander, it is positioned to compete with Volvo EX90 and is scheduled for release between late 2026 and early 2027. Its dimensions are basically consistent with the electric Highlander, with length, width and height of 5050/1989/1709mm and a wheelbase of 3051mm, featuring exclusive Lexus design details.

BYD has revealed the interior of the all-new Yuan Plus, adopting a minimalist design philosophy that abandons the previous generation's controversial personalized elements such as guitar-string door handles. The vehicle is built on a new rear-wheel-drive pure-electric platform with flash-charging technology. Interior upgrades include a larger instrument panel displaying surrounding traffic information, a head-up display, expanded central touchscreen with additional speakers, and a column-mounted shifter freeing up center console space for wireless charging while retaining physical buttons. Exterior dimensions grow to 4,665×1,895×1,675mm with a 2,770mm wheelbase, featuring semi-flush door handles, customizable D-pillar panels, and 18/19-inch wheel options. The Changan CS55PLUS HEV has been spotted ahead of the Beijing Auto Show, following its MIIT homologation. The compact SUV adopts the brand's latest design language featuring a borderless grille with V-shaped elements, star-ring full-width light bar and 7-shaped headlight clusters, while the rear gains full-width taillights and a prominent spoiler. Dimensions remain unchanged from the ICE version at 4,550×1,868×1,675mm with a 2,656mm wheelbase. Powertrain comprises a 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor in a hybrid system achieving 4.68L/100km combined fuel consumption. Three wheel options are offered in 17, 18 and 19-inch sizes, expanding Changan's new energy compact SUV portfolio.

The Wuling Starlight L has been spotted ahead of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Positioned as a large SUV with a six-seat layout and 2,950mm wheelbase, the model debuts Wuling's new "Aerial Aesthetics" design language featuring a full-width star-ring light bar with segmented vertical elements and active air vents. Dimensions are 4,980×1,930×1,760mm, riding on 20-inch wheels with Michelin tires. Five exterior colors are offered: Pine Green, Lake Blue, Ink Bamboo Black, Mountain Silver and Morning Frost White. The rear adopts full-width taillights echoing the front design. Powertrain comprises a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, expanding Wuling's new energy large SUV portfolio.

XPeng confirmed plans to launch its flagship GX large SUV in Malaysia during Q3/Q4 2026, with right-hand-drive production already underway—ahead of the P7 sedan. Measuring 5,265 mm long with a 3,115 mm wheelbase, the six-seater GX features a 17.3-inch 3K central touchscreen and "zero-gravity" second-row seats. It offers dual powertrain options: a BEV variant on 800V architecture with 5C fast charging, dual 270 kW motors, 4-second 0-100 km/h acceleration and 750 km CLTC range; and an EREV variant with a 1.5L turbo range-extender delivering 1,585 km combined CLTC range. Audi has launched the Q5L Intelligent Hybrid Premium variant priced at RMB 332,800, matching the Ten Million Users Exclusive Edition. The model features a powertrain upgrade with the fifth-generation EA888 2.0T engine, integrating VTG variable geometry turbocharger technology and 500Bar direct injection for 200kW maximum power and 400Nm peak torque. It pairs with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and P0+P3 parallel hybrid system providing an additional 18kW, achieving 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds.
