The modern Elexio right-hand drive version made its debut in Australia, offering only the Elite trim. It features a front-wheel-drive configuration with a single electric motor delivering 160 kW/310 Nm, paired with an 88.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery for a WLTP range of 546 km. The 350 kW fast-charging system can charge from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes. The vehicle measures 4615×1875×1675 mm in dimensions, with a 2750 mm wheelbase. Standard features include 20-inch wheels, a 27-inch central control screen, 14-way power-adjustable front seats (with ventilation and heating), dual wireless charging, NFC digital key 2, and BlueLink+OTA. Imported models from China enjoy preferential tax rates. If introduced in Malaysia, its price could fall within the RM140k-150k range, directly competing with the BYD Atto 3 Ultra (RM123,800).

On 6 January, Toyota Motor Thailand’s independent after-sales network FIXFIT inaugurated its 21st outlet in Banpho, Chachoengsao, with President Noriyuki Yamashita presiding. Targeting out-of-warranty vehicles of all brands, FIXFIT offers certified technicians, genuine-quality parts and uniform service standards. After reaching 21 locations nationwide by end-2025, the network plans to exceed 40 branches within 2026 to capture Thailand’s growing post-warranty market.
Volvo EX60 & EX60 Cross Country Debut with 810 km Range and 800 V Charging
Volvo unveiled the EX60 duo—its first SPA3-platform EVs. The 4.8-metre-long, 0.26-drag SUV offers single- or twin-motor layouts, up to 810 km CLTC range and 800 V architecture adding 340 km in 10 min. The Cross Country variant adds air suspension, Frost Green paint and skid plates, raising ride height 40 mm for rough terrain. Production starts this spring in Sweden, with European deliveries this summer.

TQ Wuling Bingo Begins CKD Production in Malaysia: Priced from RM62,800, Up to 410 km Range
The TQ Wuling Bingo, which was released last month, has officially rolled off the production line at the Segambut Chen Chang factory in Kuala Lumpur, becoming the factory's first CKD pure electric vehicle. The new car is positioned as a B-segment five door hatchback, with a body size of 3950 × 1708 × 1580mm and a wheelbase of 2560mm. It is available in both Pro and Max versions, priced at RM67800 and RM72800 respectively. The first 500 owners can enjoy a RM5000 discount, with discounted prices of RM62800 and RM67800, and receive a gift package worth RM12000 including a 7kW household charging station, insulation film, insurance, and more. In terms of power, Bingo is equipped with a front mounted single motor (68PS/150Nm), a Pro version with a 31.9kWh battery (CLTC range of 333km), and a Max version with a 37.9kWh battery (CLTC range of 410km), supporting up to 50kW DC fast charging (30-80%<35 minutes) and 7kW AC slow charging. Standard LED light group, 10.25-inch dual screen Apple CarPlay/Android Auto、 Electric leather seats, 6 airbags, cruise control, blind spot detection, but without AEB and ACC. Local assembly enjoys tax-free benefits until the end of 2027.
