Spy images of the Volvo EX60 show familiar Thor’s Hammer headlights and vertical taillights. Built on the new SPA3 EV architecture, the SUV will offer single- or dual-motor layouts with over 700 km CLTC range, debuting on January 26, 2026.

On October 29 Nissan will world-premiere the all-new fourth-generation Elgrand—its first large minivan with 3rd-gen e-POWER—and the refreshed Ariya EV featuring Google-based infotainment, V2L and Japan-specific suspension at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. Smart will debut the #5 EHD plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV on Oct 28. Retaining the capsule-themed design, the 4 705 mm-long model offers a 2 900 mm wheelbase and a cockpit with 10.3" digital cluster plus 25.6" AR-HUD. A 1.5-T PHEV pairs with either 20 kWh or 41.46 kWh batteries for up to 252 km CLTC electric range. Pre-sales start at 189 900 yuan, targeting premium electrified crossover buyers.

On Oct 20 Fang Cheng Bao launches the Leopard 5 long-range and Leopard 8 five-seat variants. The 5 gets a 47.8 kWh pack for 200 km CLTC EV range, five new colors and brown interior, in four trim levels. The 8 swaps third row for zero-gravity captain chairs with leg rests and adds mineral-green paint, keeping its 2.0-T PHEV/680 hp e-motor powertrain and 1 200 km total range. The move targets premium electrified off-road demand around 400 k yuan.

On 17 Oct Changan released the 2025 CS75 PRO compact SUV in six trims. List price spans 97,900–118,900 yuan, but cash and trade-in incentives drop entry cost to 75,900–96,900 yuan. A 1.5-T turbo petrol drives both 5- and 7-seat variants, while parametric grille and split headlamps refresh the CS family look, positioning the model as a value play in China’s sub-100k SUV segment.

Honda Racing Corporation has revealed the Civic Type R Rally XP, set to debut at COTA during the US GP weekend. Retaining the stock 2.0-litre turbo (319 PS / 420 Nm) but sleeved to 1.6 litres for ARA L2WD compliance, it rides on Speedline wheels and knobby Hoosiers, gains rally suspension, uprated transmission and a metal skid plate. Honda of America Racing Team will likely campaign the car in the 2025 ARA National Championship, replacing its current 2017 Civic or 2023 Integra.
