GAC and Huawei’s premium EV brand “Qijing” has frozen design of its first car, codenamed F03. The mid-large sedan, due in 2026, features a long hood, full-width light bar and roof-mounted LiDAR for advanced NOA. Validated in Turpan’s heat, it will launch in BEV and EREV forms, targeting the 300,000+ RMB segment.

Smart will debut the #5 EHD plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV on Oct 28. Changan CS75 PRO Launches from 75,900 yuan after incentives with 5-/7-seat options
On 17 Oct Changan released the 2025 CS75 PRO compact SUV in six trims. List price spans 97,900–118,900 yuan, but cash and trade-in incentives drop entry cost to 75,900–96,900 yuan. A 1.5-T turbo petrol drives both 5- and 7-seat variants, while parametric grille and split headlamps refresh the CS family look, positioning the model as a value play in China’s sub-100k SUV segment.

Fang Cheng Bao Leopard 5 Long-Range & Leopard 8 Five-Seat Debut Oct 20 with up to 200 km EV Range
On Oct 20 Fang Cheng Bao launches the Leopard 5 long-range and Leopard 8 five-seat variants. The 5 gets a 47.8 kWh pack for 200 km CLTC EV range, five new colors and brown interior, in four trim levels. The 8 swaps third row for zero-gravity captain chairs with leg rests and adds mineral-green paint, keeping its 2.0-T PHEV/680 hp e-motor powertrain and 1 200 km total range. The move targets premium electrified off-road demand around 400 k yuan.

Hyundai EO Yiou Rolls Off Line: E-GMP-Based Compact SUV, 722 km Range, Pre-Sales from RMB 130k
Hyundai Beijing today began pre-sales of its first E-GMP EV, the EO Yiou compact SUV, priced RMB 130-150k and offering up to 722 km CLTC range. Measuring 4,615×1,875×1,676mm on a 2,750mm wheelbase, the 722-km flagship will launch officially on 29 Oct in seven colours with 18- or 20-inch wheels. The brand plans 20 new ICE and EV models within 4-5 years.
