On Dec 18 Landa Auto launched the limited-run L60 Violet Edition. The SUV costs CNY 214,900 outright or CNY 157,900 with BaaS battery subscription; only 666 units are available. Based on the RWD variant (Cd 0.229), it adds Violet haze paint, 20-inch glossy-black wheels, a fold-out rear-right table and a two-tone lilac-white leather interior with marble-effect trim. Customers who lock any L60 order by Dec 31 can save up to CNY 41,000 and share a CNY 110 million gift pool via the Landa App.
NIO ES8 Rear Entertainment Downgraded Due to Chip Shortage, Users Compensated
Citing a shortage of rear-seat entertainment expansion chips, NIO will switch to a revised hardware package for ES8s rolling off the line from 22 Dec 2025. The update drops USB local video playback and USB-C video-out to external monitors, while wireless mirroring and USB lossless audio remain intact. Customers who lock orders by 31 Dec 2025 receive a one-time 15,000-point credit and can later retrofit the original package for ¥1,200 or 12,000 points once chip supply improves.
