A new Wuling Silver-Label MPV has been spied in domestic social media. The vehicle is expected to have a similar size to the Wuling Kaijie, featuring a 7-seat layout and targeting the home-use market. The exterior adopts a new design language with square headlights, low-drag wheels, and a sliding door. The rear includes a large spoiler and “Y”-shaped taillights. The interior features a multifunctional flat-bottom steering wheel, a simple dashboard, and leatherette seats. The car is expected to be equipped with Zhuoyu Technology’s driving assistance system, offering highway navigation assistance for products under 100,000 yuan. Powering the MPV is the Lingxi plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor with a combined output of 105 kW and 160 kW, respectively. The battery capacity is 20.5 kWh, providing a CLTC range of 140 km.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG A 35 L has officially launched with a price tag of 416,600 yuan, marking an increase of 5,300 yuan from the previous model. The new model retains the same exterior, interior, and powertrain but comes with upgraded configurations, including the standard Burmester Berliner Philharmoniker sound system (upgraded from 10 to 12 speakers). It features the AMG grille and chrome badge, along with new 19-inch 5-spoke wheels. The interior includes an AMG sports steering wheel and seats, with a 2.0T engine delivering 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

Lotus is planning to expand the range of vehicles produced at its Hethel plant in the UK, including models from the wider Geely group such as the Polestar 6, according to Autocar. Matt Windle, CEO of Lotus Cars Europe, said that the transition from ICE models to electric vehicles is necessary for the business. He also highlighted Hethel’s history of producing non-Lotus models like the Vauxhall VX220 and Tesla Roadster, suggesting a potential return to this business model. Meanwhile, Lotus’s own electric sports car, the Type 135, is reportedly on hold as the company assesses market demand for electric sports cars.

The new Volvo S90 mid-size sedan is set to launch on May 29. As a facelift model, the new car mainly upgrades the exterior and interior, while keeping the powertrain the same as the current model. In terms of appearance, the front grille has been redesigned, complemented by new Thor's Hammer headlights and a three-section intake port, creating an elegant look. The side features new wheel designs, and the tail has been updated with new taillights and a small ducktail to enhance sportiness. The gasoline version has a maximum power of 184kW, while the plug-in hybrid version has a maximum power of 335kW. The car is also equipped with Pilot Assist driver assistance functions.

A new Geely Galaxy sedan has been unveiled in camouflaged prototype form. The yet-to-be-named C-segment model features a full-width light bar, six-window glasshouse, and full-width taillights with central vertical segments. Unlike many other Galaxy models, it has conventional pull-type door handles and integrated headlights, indicating a more budget-friendly nature. The car is equipped with Geely’s EM-i powertrain, offering a total range of over 2,100 km and fuel consumption of around 2.0 litres per 100 km when the battery is low. The model is expected to join Proton’s lineup in Malaysia.

The 2025 ID.4 X has officially launched with four models, priced between 159,888 and 211,888 yuan, consistent with the previous model. A limited-time offer price starting at 139,900 yuan is available, along with 4,000 ID. beans and five basic benefits, including worry-free data, green energy membership, VIP after-sales service, three-electricity warranty, and trade-in benefits. Additionally, three credit schemes and a smart driving protection package are offered. The new model has canceled the mint green paint option, offering only three body colors. The interior comes standard with two color schemes, and the entry-level model no longer offers optional functions such as AR-HUD and seat ventilation. In terms of power, it still features rear-mounted motors with high and low power options. The high-power version has a maximum power of 170kW and a range of 601km, while the low-power version has a maximum power of 125kW, with the range to be specified.
