The 2025 Mercedes-AMG A 35 L has officially launched with a price tag of 416,600 yuan, marking an increase of 5,300 yuan from the previous model. The new model retains the same exterior, interior, and powertrain but comes with upgraded configurations, including the standard Burmester Berliner Philharmoniker sound system (upgraded from 10 to 12 speakers). It features the AMG grille and chrome badge, along with new 19-inch 5-spoke wheels. The interior includes an AMG sports steering wheel and seats, with a 2.0T engine delivering 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

On May 19, the refreshed Genesis G80 was officially launched, with two configurations: the Luxury Edition priced at 318,000 yuan and the Flagship Edition at 466,000 yuan. The new model continues the "athletic elegance" aesthetic, featuring a large shield grille and LED headlights with MLA technology. The rear design is layered, with hidden dual exhausts and chrome trim. It offers a choice of 18-20 inch wheels. Geely has made significant progress in local production in Indonesia with the first assembly of its electric model EX5 completed at PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) in Pwakarta. The EX5 is set for mass production in Q4 2025 with an initial annual production target of 20,000 units. The plant will serve both the Indonesian market and the broader ASEAN region. Previously, Geely announced plans to launch 5 to 7 new models in Indonesia over the next three years, covering EVs, PHEVs, and ICE vehicles. Currently, Geely has 15 dealerships in Indonesia, with plans to expand to 100 by 2028. The EX5 was first unveiled in Thailand in November 2023 and officially launched in Indonesia in January 2025, available in Pro (475 million Indonesian rupiah) and Max (515 million Indonesian rupiah) versions. The EX5 features a front-mounted electric motor with 160 kW (215 hp) and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.22 kWh LFP battery. The Pro version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds with an NEDC range of 495 km, while the Max version accelerates in 7.1 seconds with a range of 490 km.

Geely Galaxy's flagship SUV has been officially named Geely Galaxy M9, symbolizing "Master quality, Mountain technology, and creating wonderful moments for users." Positioned as a large six-seater SUV, the vehicle will be equipped with the Qianli Haohan driving assistance system and is scheduled to launch on May 22. The exterior is tall and robust, likely featuring The through type headlights and taillights design, smooth roofline, and interior space performance are worth looking forward to. The interior is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a large-sized central control screen. The seats are made of perforated leather material, and a large-sized armrest box is located behind the central aisle. It also supports functions such as rear air vents and wireless charging for mobile phones. In terms of power, it is expected to be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, with specific parameters to be announced.

The Chery Omoda C5 EV (known as Omoda E5 in Malaysia) has received a price adjustment for the 2025 model year in Thailand. Originally launched in August 2024 with two variants, the Long Range Plus (899,000 baht, about RM116k) and Long Range Ultimate (949,000 baht, RM123k), the models have now been renamed to Long Range Dynamic (649,000 baht, RM84k) and Long Range Max (699,000 baht, RM91k), representing a 250,000 baht (RM32k) price reduction. The front electric motor now produces 211 PS (208 hp or 155 kW) and 288 Nm of torque, compared to the previous 204 PS (201 hp or 150 kW) and 340 Nm, while the 61-kWh LFP battery remains unchanged. The WLTP range is 430 km (505 km NEDC), with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 172 km/h. Charging capabilities include a max AC input of 9.9 kW and DC fast charging up to 80 kW, allowing a 30-80% charge in 28 minutes. Standard features include LED headlights, a powered tailgate, 18-inch wheels, ventilated electric front seats, dual 12.3-inch screens, synthetic leather upholstery, and a wireless charger. The Max variant adds features like acoustic glass, a sunroof, and eight Sony speakers. The vehicle comes with an eight-year, 200,000-km warranty covering the vehicle, drive system, and EV battery, along with five years of roadside assistance, free one-year insurance, and a free wallbox charger with installation for the Max variant.
