2025 Mercedes-AMG A 35 L Launched with Price Increase and Configurations Upgrade
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG A 35 L has officially launched with a price tag of 416,600 yuan, marking an increase of 5,300 yuan from the previous model. The new model retains the same exterior, interior, and powertrain but comes with upgraded configurations, including the standard Burmester Berliner Philharmoniker sound system (upgraded from 10 to 12 speakers). It features the AMG grille and chrome badge, along with new 19-inch 5-spoke wheels. The interior includes an AMG sports steering wheel and seats, with a 2.0T engine delivering 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

The interior features a multifunctional flat-bottom steering wheel, a simple dashboard, and leatherette seats. The 2025 ID.4 X has officially launched with four models, priced between 159,888 and 211,888 yuan, consistent with the previous model. A limited-time offer price starting at 139,900 yuan is available, along with 4,000 ID. beans and five basic benefits, including worry-free data, green energy membership, VIP after-sales service, three-electricity warranty, and trade-in benefits. Additionally, three credit schemes and a smart driving protection package are offered. The new model has canceled the mint green paint option, offering only three body colors. The Lingzhi new energy models feature a multi-energy technology route of "oil, electric, and gas," bringing the price of commercial vehicles below 100,000 yuan for the first time. The pure electric version, "Lingzhi New Energy 420km Urban Operation Edition," is priced at 109,800 yuan with a limited-time trade-in price of 99,800 yuan. Chery Omoda 5 Rebranded as C5 in Australia with Upgrades and Upcoming Launch
The facelifted Chery Omoda 5, now rebranded as the Chery C5 in Australia, is set to hit showrooms this month. The model retains the design seen in Russia, featuring new arrow-shaped LED daytime running light “eyebrows,” a black connecting bar, body-coloured grille “pins,” and an X-shaped front bumper. The 18-inch black wheels have a new design, and the divisive red highlights have been replaced with black. The interior is expected to carry over from the Russian version, with a full-width air vent design, twin 10.25-inch screens, touch-based air-con controls, a stubby gear selector, and bucket-style seats with integrated headrests. The C5 comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front acoustic glass windows, an eight-speaker Sony sound system, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera setup, and a full suite of driver assists. Powering the C5 is a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with 147 PS and 230 Nm of torque, now paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission instead of the previous CVT. The rear suspension has been upgraded to a multi-link setup, and the boot space has increased by 45 litres to 370 litres. The C5 will start at AU$29,990 (RM82,700) for the base Urban trim, rising to AU$34,990 (RM96,500) for the top-spec Ultimate.
