2026 Leapmotor C10 Officially Launched, Priced at 122,800-142,800 RMB with Upgraded Range and Intelligence
The 2026 Leapmotor C10 has officially launched, offering five variants priced between 122,800 and 142,800 RMB. The new model features dual powertrain options, with the pure-electric version offering a CLTC range of 605 km and the extended-range version providing a combined range of 1,190 km and a pure-electric range of 210 km. The C10 has been upgraded with the LEAP3.5 technology architecture, introducing a new Xilu Purple exterior color and hidden door handles. The interior offers two styles, Chixia Orange and Xingyun Purple, and features a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charge and a new steering wheel design. The smart cockpit is equipped with a Qualcomm SA8295P chip and Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus, supporting a 3D dynamic desktop and smart split-screen functionality. The advanced driving assistance system uses a “lidar + end-to-end large model” approach, with 28 intelligent sensing hardware components and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 chip, enabling 27 ADAS features. Toyota bZ4X Refreshed for 2026, Renamed bZ with Enhanced Range and Features
Toyota has refreshed the bZ4X for the 2026 model year, now simply called the bZ. The new model offers increased range, revised styling, and is set to arrive at dealerships in the second half of 2025. The bZ will be available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and two battery options. FWD variants now have 221 hp (up from 201 hp) and come with either a 57.7-kWh or 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery, offering ranges from 380 km to 505 km. The AWD powertrain, with a 338 hp output, is only available with the larger battery and provides up to 463 km of range. The bZ supports 11 kW AC charging (up from 7 kW) and features a NACS charging port for DC fast charging, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Styling updates include the brand's new hammerhead face and optional body color-matched overfenders. Inside, the bZ features a redesigned dashboard with a larger 14-inch infotainment screen, wireless charging pads, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ADAS.

Zeekr 009 Executive Updated with Dual-Chamber Air Suspension, Priced from RM310,000
Zeekr Malaysia has updated the Zeekr 009 Executive electric MPV with a dual-chamber air suspension system, replacing the previous single-chamber setup. The Executive variant is priced at RM310,000 (on-the-road without insurance) for the first 500 customers, with the non-promo price to be revealed later. The Executive is up to RM49,800 cheaper than the Ultra Luxury variant. Unlike the all-wheel-drive Luxury and Ultra Luxury variants with dual motors rated at 612 PS (450 kW) and 693 Nm, the Executive features a single front motor with 340 PS (250 kW) and 373 Nm, achieving 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds compared to the AWD variants' 4.5 seconds. The Executive shares the same 116-kWh NMC battery as the AWD variants, offering a WLTP range of up to 604 km. It supports 11 kW AC charging (0-100% in 13.5 hours) and 150 kW DC fast charging (10%-80% in 30 minutes). The Executive is available as a seven-seater with features including matrix LED headlamps, Nappa leather upholstery, powered first- and second-row seats with ventilation and massage functions, seven airbags, and a suite of ADAS.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Middle East (HMMME) hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at the King Salman Automotive Cluster within King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia. This marks a significant step in developing the Kingdom's automotive industry. Owned 70% by PIF and 30% by Hyundai, the plant is Hyundai's first in the Middle East, targeting an annual production of 50,000 vehicles, including ICE and EVs, with the first vehicle set to roll out by Q4 2026. The facility will create thousands of jobs, localize vehicle production, and boost Saudi Arabia's automotive ecosystem.
