On July 10, Jetta officially unveiled the all-new VS8, a mid-size SUV featuring a bold “Warrior Armor” design language. Measuring 4,629×1,851×1,624 mm with a 2,731 mm wheelbase, the VS8 offers a tech-forward cabin with a 10.25-inch digital cluster and 14.6-inch floating infotainment screen. Power comes from a 1.4L turbocharged engine producing 110 kW, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Built on the MQB EVO platform, it features MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension, and includes Level 2 ADAS with over 20 active safety functions.

The AITO Ask 5 Ultra has officially started pre-sales with a starting price of 238,000 yuan. The mid-sized SUV offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrains, with new exterior colors like Zero-Degree White and Phantom Purple. The interior features a new chestnut orange color scheme and a column-mounted gear shift. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with a 192-line lidar and 4D millimeter-wave radar, supporting AEB omnidirectional collision prevention and eAES automatic emergency steering. During the pre-sale period, customers can enjoy a discount of 5000 yuan off the purchase price with a 2000 yuan deposit.

Ledao L90 flagship SUV pre-orders start at RMB 279,900 for outright purchase or RMB 193,900 under BaaS. Riding on a 3110 mm wheelbase, the three-row six-seater offers a 240 L frunk and class-leading space. Built on 900 V architecture, outputs reach 340 kW (RWD) or 440 kW (AWD) for 0-100 km/h in 4.7 s, plus adaptive air suspension and intelligent lighting.

Mazda has released official images of the third-generation CX-5, which is expected to be launched first in the European market by the end of this year, with a version featuring Mazda's self-developed Skyactiv-Z hybrid system planned for 2027. The exterior continues the Kodo design philosophy, with a layered headlight structure, sharper front bumper lines, and a repositioned radiator grille that lowers the visual center of gravity. The side profile remains sleek and compact, equipped with newly designed blackened five-spoke petal-shaped wheels. At the rear, the taillights are slimmer, and the tailgate features a "MAZDA" letter badge. The vehicle measures 4,690 mm x 1,860 mm x 1,695 mm, with a wheelbase extended to 2,870 mm. Inside, it features a 15.6-inch large screen with Google's in-car system, replacing the previous floating small screen, and the central console has been digitized with physical knobs and buttons removed. The steering wheel has also been redesigned. Safety-wise, the new CX-5 will be equipped with Mazda's latest advanced driver assistance systems. Power-wise, the initial fuel version will be equipped with a 2.5-liter e-Skyactiv-G four-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine, assisted by a 24V mild hybrid system, with a maximum output of 141 PS and peak torque of 238 Nm, mated to a Skyactiv-Drive six-speed automatic transmission, offering both front-wheel and all-wheel drive options.

Mazda revealed the third-gen CX-5, retaining Kodo design with sharper details. Features dual-L LED DRLs, blacked-out grille and trim, muscular flanks, slim smoked taillights and twin exhausts. Inside, a floating touchscreen replaces the old display and buttons, wrapped in soft leather. Power comes from a 2.5 L NA engine paired to a 6AT. Built in Japan, it reaches overseas markets late 2025.
