Ferrari has unveiled the latest special edition of the Berlinetta series, the 296 Speciale. The car continues the mid-rear engine layout and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 120° V6 twin-turbocharged engine and a high-performance electric motor. The total system power reaches 880 cv, an increase of 50 cv over the 296 GTB, making it the most powerful rear-wheel drive production car in Ferrari's history. The 296 Speciale features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and lightweight design, reducing the vehicle weight by 60 kg and achieving a weight-to-power ratio of 1.60 kg/cv. It also boasts advanced aerodynamic components and an adjustable rear spoiler, generating 435 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, a 20% improvement. The car is now officially on sale, priced from 3.9888 million to 4.3988 million yuan.
