On April 27, Dongfeng Nissan launched its first mid-high-end pure electric sedan, the N7, priced between 119,900 and 149,900 yuan with five configurations. The N7, built on the "Tianyan Architecture," offers over 600 km range and features an intelligent driving system. It includes premium features like AI smart seats, a dual-zone fridge, and a 2.5K HD touchscreen. The mid-large sedan has dimensions of 4930×1895×1487mm and a wheelbase of 2915mm.

On April 23, Star Charge made a strong appearance at the Auto Shanghai 2025 with the theme “Value to Green: Accelerating Zero-Carbon Living into the V2G Era.” As the world's top-selling charging station brand, Star Charge showcased its innovative achievements in smart energy, including the Home PV-Storage-Charging Green Energy System, the world's fastest automatic charging robotic arm “Armstrong,” and the 2-megawatt liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging product. NIO has completed the delivery of its 100,000th vehicle in Shanghai, becoming the first Chinese brand in the city with an average transaction price over 300,000 yuan and 100,000 users. In 2024, NIO delivered 221,970 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38.7%. The company's annual revenue reached 65.73 billion yuan, up 18.2% year-on-year, with the vehicle gross margin rising to 12%. In 2025, NIO will launch several new models, including the new ES6 and ET5, and the Firefly brand vehicle will be launched in April.

Chery has launched the Explorer 06 AWD Discovery Edition with a standard price of 139,900 RMB, offering a limited-time price of 109,900 RMB, which includes cash and pre-order incentives. The new model features a "fluorescent warrior kit" with a body size of 4552×1905×1789mm, a wheelbase of 2672mm, an approach angle of 21°, a departure angle of 29°, and a maximum wading depth of 605mm. On April 28, spy photos of the Ideal i6 in camouflage were released. The new model is expected to be launched in the second half of 2025, featuring a two-tone body design with flared wheel arches and fenders for a sporty look. The rear is equipped with a pulling-through tail light and a roof spoiler, enhancing the visual layering. Referring to the Ideal i8, it will be equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, with front and rear motors rated at 150kW and 250kW respectively, as well as the new generation ATL lidar and 5C ternary lithium battery.

On April 28, the State Council Information Office held a press conference where Vice Chairman Zhao Chenxin of the National Development and Reform Commission and others introduced policies for stable employment and economic development. Zhao announced the establishment of a childcare subsidy system, creation of special relending tools, support for service consumption and elderly care industries, and implementation of a consumption boost action plan, including targeted increase of vehicle quotas for key groups in cities with purchase restrictions.
