The Roewe Jiayue 07 will debut on August 13. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV targeting the 150,000-200,000 yuan segment, it uses a range-extended powertrain. The exterior features a 2.24-meter connected light bar, roof-mounted LiDAR, and Momenta R5 advanced driver assistance. Dimensions measure 4900/1910/1745mm with a 2,908mm wheelbase, offering six color options. The powertrain pairs a 1.5L range extender (72kW) with a 162kW motor, matched with 32.6kWh or 44.2kWh batteries delivering 180-240km WLTP pure electric range (320km max CLTC). It also features the Doubao large model 2.0 series.

The new Maserati Grecale has launched with three models priced from 578,800 to 1,016,800 yuan. The global limited edition Night Blue variant of 26 units debuted simultaneously, featuring exclusive Night Blue metallic paint, custom matte gold trident badges, hand-embroidered interior, and a Sonus faber premium audio system. The cabin offers a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 12.3-inch central screen, and 8.8-inch control panel with triple-screen connectivity. Powertrain options include a 2.0L turbo mild-hybrid (300/330 PS) and a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 (530 PS), all paired with AWD. Eleven exterior colors are available.

Chery's new sub-brand Lepas is expanding into Malaysia, with its first showroom under construction at the former Porsche Glenmarie office location. Founded at Auto Shanghai 2025, the brand targets 30 outlets by end-2026. Lepas previewed the L4 EV, L6 and L8 at the KL Polo Club in July, though final market specifications remain unconfirmed. The company has appointed 20 dealers and is expected to officially launch in Malaysia in Q4.

Dongfeng Fengshen has released official images of the L9, a premium all-round seven-seat SUV designed for three-generation families. Measuring 5 meters in length with a 3-meter wheelbase, it uses a 2+3+2 seat layout with 64 combinations. Powertrain options include pure EV and range-extended variants, with the EV version supporting 800V 4C fast charging. The exterior features a connected light bar with dotted LED accents and an illuminated logo, while the lower grille connects to vertical daytime running lights via black trim. Chrome side trim highlights the visual center, bulging wheel arches add presence, and the roof carries silver roof rails. The connected taillights use dotted red LEDs for high nighttime visibility.

The Geely Xingyue L, launched in 2021, remains Geely's best-selling model with 15,220 units sold in June alone. Spy shots of the new model (internal code KX21) have emerged. The exterior retains the vertical multi-bar front grille with redesigned, more slender headlamps and a roof-mounted LiDAR (not installed on the test vehicle). It wears 235/50 R20 wheels with the Geely China Star logo. The interior is expected to feature a dual-screen setup. The i-HEV hybrid system continues with a 1.5L turbo engine (120 kW) and electric motor (175 kW). The presence of both charging port and fuel cap on the test vehicle suggests a PHEV variant may also be offered.

Spy shots of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206 long wheelbase variant) have emerged from China. The front end features a completely redesigned oversized grille with a black surround lifted from the W214 E-Class and EQ series, paired with star-pattern LED headlights. The rear end gets two-piece taillights with additional star elements. Inside, the 12.3-inch freestanding instrument display and 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen are retained. Engine options are expected to include the M264 1.5L and 2.0L turbo fours, OM654 2.0L turbodiesel, and PHEVs like the C350e, C300de and C400e. A straight-six C53 may replace the four-cylinder C43 and C63 PHEV variants. The facelifted C-Class will compete against the next-generation BMW 3 Series (G50).
