Chery, China's top car exporter, announced plans to establish an R&D center in Paris to develop a Europe-specific small city car tailored to local consumer preferences. The move marks Chery's strategic pivot from its SUV-focused European entry—via Omoda and Jaecoo brands—into the continent's iconic compact segment. "We want to build a French car for the French," stated Hanbang Yu, Chery France director, emphasizing the company's commitment to understanding regional design tastes. The initiative targets France's significant small car market, positioning Chery to compete against established European urban runabouts like the Fiat Cinquecento and Renault Twingo on their home terrain.

The 2026 Haval H9 has launched with three gasoline variants priced from RMB 199,900 to RMB 229,900, and limited-time offers from RMB 174,900. Two diesel variants are also available from RMB 233,900. The facelift upgrades smart connectivity, comfort, and off-road performance. Standard features include a full blackout exterior package, a 20 mm raised ride height, 226 mm ground clearance, 32-degree approach angle, and 800 mm wading depth. Headlight illumination has been improved by over 50% at 40 metres.

GAC AION has officially launched the N60 compact SUV, built on the AEP3.0 dedicated EV architecture. Chery has officially released the interior images of its new ARRIZO S concept vehicle. Positioned as a mid-size sedan, the model is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with its exterior previously unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show. The interior features a wrap-around cockpit design accentuated by ambient lighting strips, chrome trims, and wood-grain elements. Built on the GAC AEP3.0 dedicated EV platform, the vehicle features an all-new design language by former BMW i8 designer Ye Binghuan, measuring 4,615/1,883/1,673 mm with a 2,775 mm wheelbase. Standard equipment includes LiDAR and 4D millimeter-wave radar, powered by WeRide's end-to-end large model, enabling NDA full-scenario advanced driver assistance across highways, urban and rural roads, along with a passenger-side zero-gravity seat.

Chery has officially released the interior images of the Tiggo X concept vehicle. Positioned as a true C-class luxury intelligent flagship SUV with "532" large flagship dimensions, the model features a 2.0T Kunpeng powertrain, Snow Leopard AWD system, and MRC electromagnetic suspension. The interior inherits the Tiggo 9L design language with a triple-screen layout comprising a digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen, and passenger display. The passenger-side storage compartment adopts a novel drawer-style partitioned design, while mountain-and-water motifs adorn the seats and speaker grilles. A crystal rotary control is integrated into the center console, and the rear cabin includes a large entertainment screen and tray tables, suggesting a 2+3+2 seating configuration.
