NIO Achieves County-Wide Coverage in Tianjin and Completes High-Speed Charging Network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region
On May 28th, NIO officially launched its new battery swap station at Tianjin Heping Wharf, achieving county-wide coverage in Tianjin with a total of 56 swap stations across the city’s 16 districts. The swap station network covers nearly 80% of residential areas, with nearly one million swap transactions recorded. NIO has also completed the high-speed charging network in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with 94 stations placed every 110 km on average. In April, NIO delivered 23,900 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 53%. The new NIO ET5 and ET5T were launched on May 25th, with a starting price of 298,000 yuan, or 228,000 yuan with the BaaS battery leasing option.
Geely Launches Two Hybrid Pickups: Radar King Kong EM-P and Radar Horizon EM-P
Geely's Radar King Kong EM-P and Radar Horizon EM-P hybrid pickups were launched on May 28th. Both models are built on the native M.A.P Radar Ocean platform and feature the Raytheon EM-P hybrid system, with a comprehensive range of up to 1500km and a CLTC pure-electric range of 130km. The vehicles measure 5260×1900×1830mm in size with a wheelbase of 3120mm, and the cargo box dimensions are 1525×1450×540mm, offering a cargo space of 1200L. The exterior design is rugged, with pulling-through LED daytime running lights and tail lights, blending elements of urban SUVs and modern styling. The new models aim to provide outdoor solutions for users in wilderness operations, long-distance travel, and cold regions.
Indonesian Aletra L8 Begins Production with Plans to Export to RHD Markets in Asia-Pacific
Production of the Aletra L8 has commenced at PT Handal Indonesia Motor’s factory in Indonesia. The L8, based on the Geely Jiaji EV, features right-hand-drive conversion and adjustments for the local market. It offers two battery variants with CLTC ranges of 431km and 540km, powered by a 163 PS motor. The MPV is planned for export to other right-hand-drive countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Xpeng MONA M03 Max Launch: Upgraded Intelligence and Rich Features
The Xpeng MONA M03 Max was launched on May 28th, featuring two versions: the 502 Long-Range Max and the 600 Ultra-Long-Range Max, the latter being an optimized version of the previous 580 Ultra-Long-Range Max. The vehicle is equipped with advanced driving assistance hardware, including multiple cameras, millimeter-wave radar, front dual cameras, and two NVIDIA Drive Orin chips, supporting urban and highway driving assistance, remote summoning, and memory parking functions. The exterior offers three new colors—Star Dusk Purple, Moonlight Grey, and Star Rain Green—and two new wheel designs. The interior introduces a new Dawn Purple color. The car also features an electric liftgate, panoramic imaging, gesture control, four-zone voice control, OTA updates, leather seats, front seat heating and ventilation, 4/6 split rear seats, wireless phone charging, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an 8155 chip, a 15.6-inch center console screen, and XPENG surround sound.

Geely Radar King Kong EM-P Launch: Hybrid-Powered for Outdoor Work
The Geely Radar King Kong EM-P was officially launched on May 28th. As the first pickup truck to adopt Geely's Raytheon EM-P hybrid system, it offers a comprehensive range of over 1000km and a 0-100km/h acceleration time in the 6-second range. The vehicle features a high-power external power supply system and supports two outdoor work solutions: "Radar Universal Stack" for energy storage and power generation, and "Radar Flyer" for drone takeoff and landing. These features cater to scenarios such as smart agriculture and intelligent inspection. The truck comes in two versions with different cargo box sizes: the standard box measures 5260×1900×1865/1880mm with a 3120mm wheelbase, while the long box measures 5500×1900×1865/1880mm with a 3310mm wheelbase.
