The refreshed Hongqi HQ9 PHEV appears on China’s 25th tax-exempt list with a 39.5kWh pack delivering 173km or 168km electric range. A 120kW 2.0T petrol engine forms the plug-in hybrid, while design keeps the vertical-bar grille and full-width taillights on its 5222×2005×1935mm luxury MPV body.

Nissan plans to export electric vehicles (EVs) from its Chinese factories to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions starting in 2026. The N7 mid-size sedan, the first EV developed in China, will be among the first to be exported. Nissan has invested in China's IAT Automobile Technology to develop software for export markets. Additionally, Nissan has established a joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Group to handle vehicle exports. Quad-motor power remains 1,000 kW; prices stay RM 628k–708k, keeping it China’s priciest home-grown luxury EV sedan.

SAIC MG will launch the 2026 MG7 tomorrow as a yearly refresh. The coupe’s 1.5 T/2.0 T powertrains and frameless doors remain, while NGP advanced ADS and an AI voice large model upgrade tech appeal. Adaptive three-stage spoiler and valved quad exhaust continue; pricing is expected to stay close to the current RMB 125.9-178.9 k range.
