BYD's compact SUV Yuan UP DM-i made its European debut, offering 90km pure electric range and 1000km total range. The plug-in hybrid model retains the design of its EV counterpart and features the fifth-generation DM system with a 1.5L engine and electric motor. Currently, the Yuan UP is only available in pure electric variants in China, priced from 74,800 to 119,800 yuan.

The next-generation Lexus ES mid-to-large sedan will be imported to China in April 2026, with current models priced at 299,900-488,900 yuan. Featuring a new design language with coupe-style silhouette and full-width taillights, the interior boasts a digital instrument cluster and dual floating screens. Powertrain options include the ES 300h hybrid (2.5L+E-CVT, 160kW combined output) and pure electric ES 350e/ES 500e variants equipped with high-capacity battery packs.

FAW-Volkswagen's all-new Tayron L PHEV midsize SUV will launch in Q1 2026. Retaining the fuel version's design, it features VW's new energy front fascia with three-section star-ring light bar, illuminated logo and IQ.Light intelligent lighting. The left rear houses a charging port, right rear a fuel inlet. The plug-in hybrid system delivers over 100km CLTC pure electric range, with a new Maji Blue color option.

At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Avatr and Huawei upgraded their strategic partnership to HI PLUS joint-creation mode, covering product development, marketing, and channel integration. The collaboration plans 17 new models by 2030, featuring Huawei's QianKun ADS L3 and next-generation HarmonyOS Cockpit. Avatr has joined Huawei's QianKun APP and co-established flagship stores. A "Seven-Star Intelligence & Beauty" premium service program was launched. Avatr's 11.5 billion RMB investment for a 10% stake in Huawei's Yinwang subsidiary further cements the deepest OEM partnership.

Beijing Off-Road's compact off-road SUV, the BJ40 Explorer, will launch in January 2026 with a blind order program offering a 99-yuan deposit redeemable for 1,000 yuan off. The vehicle retains the iconic five-slot grille and removable roof, features a 15.6-inch floating central screen powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, dual-tone interior options, standard power-adjustable driver seat, and both 2.0T gasoline and diesel powertrains.

FAW-Volkswagen's mid-cycle facelifted Talagon mid-to-large SUV will launch in Q1 2026. Measuring 5007/2015/1767mm with 2980mm wheelbase, it features a 15-inch floating central screen and 11.6-inch passenger display, along with a column-mounted shifter. The powertrain upgrades include 380TSI and 450TSI engines, with the latter sporting a fifth-generation EA888 unit producing 200kW, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
