The Beijing BJ Star Platinum 5X has been spotted in real-world images, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV offering fuel, PHEV and pure EV powertrains. The fuel version features a square front end with a waterfall grille, while PHEV/EV variants use a closed front face. Dimensions are 4,865/2,000/1,910mm with a 2,875mm wheelbase. Geely Motor Group has unveiled its "Global New Generation Geely AI Intelligent Charging Technology" centered on the Star Smart PowerMind intelligent energy model jointly developed with StepUp Stars. The 5th generation charging pile reaches 2.2 megawatts (2,200kW) peak power, the industry's highest. Testing on the Lynk 10 showed 10-70% charge in 4 minutes 22 seconds and 10-97% in 8 minutes 42 seconds, claimed as the world's fastest production charging speed. AI temperature control keeps battery below 65°C throughout charging. AI smart charging enables "one vehicle, one strategy" battery health management, while lithium-ion pulse repair technology extends battery cycle life by 20%. The all-new Geely Galaxy E5 was also launched simultaneously on the 800V platform with 6C fast charging and new generation Shendan short-blade battery offering 550/635km range.

Li Auto's product line head Li Xinyang announced the new Li i6 will launch at the end of October instead of late September, with delivery timeline unchanged. The new i6 has completed MIIT filing. Exterior receives minor adjustments aligning with the L9 and i9 family design, featuring semi-hidden door handles and 20/21-inch wheels. Dimensions are 4,950/1,935/1,655mm with a 3,000mm wheelbase. Xpeng has revealed L03 specifications and pricing for the Australian market, starting at AUD41,900 (approximately RM121,000). The RWD Standard Range features a 58.3kWh LFP battery with 445km WLTP range, 163kW/280Nm rear motor, supporting 11kW AC and 193kW DC charging. The RWD Long Range has a 71.2kWh battery delivering 520km range with 183kW motor.
