Spy shots of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206 long wheelbase variant) have emerged from China. The front end features a completely redesigned oversized grille with a black surround lifted from the W214 E-Class and EQ series, paired with star-pattern LED headlights. The rear end gets two-piece taillights with additional star elements. Inside, the 12.3-inch freestanding instrument display and 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen are retained. Engine options are expected to include the M264 1.5L and 2.0L turbo fours, OM654 2.0L turbodiesel, and PHEVs like the C350e, C300de and C400e. A straight-six C53 may replace the four-cylinder C43 and C63 PHEV variants. The facelifted C-Class will compete against the next-generation BMW 3 Series (G50).
