In August 2024, Indonesia's car sales showed a month-on-month increase, with wholesale sales reaching 76,304 units, up 2.8%, and retail sales at 76,808 units, up 1.6%. However, year-on-year, the wholesale sales for January-August 2024 decreased by 17.1%, and retail sales dropped by 12.1%. Toyota, Daihatsu, Honda, Mitsubishi Motors, and Suzuki are the top five best-selling brands.
