Mercedes-AMG has released spy shots of the CLE Mythos, the second limited-production model from its Mythos bespoke division. Featuring aggressive aerodynamic enhancements including a large front air intake and rear spoiler over the CLE 53, plus interior roll cage, the vehicle is expected to deploy a new flat-plane crank V8 engine producing up to 659 hp, emphasizing its hardcore performance orientation.

CATL has unveiled its Tianxing II light commercial EV battery series, featuring the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery for commercial vehicles. The 175 Wh/kg cell offers 10,000 cycles, maintains 90% capacity at -40°C, and supports 5C charging. With superior low-temperature performance and lower material costs, mass production is scheduled to commence in July for small vans and light trucks applications.

The cabin features a 10.1-inch touchscreen with OpenR infotainment and 17 ADAS functions. Manufactured at the Chennai plant, the SUV launches in spring 2026 for India, followed by South Africa and Gulf markets.
