Changan officially launched the UNI-V hybrid on September 12 with two models at official prices of 114,900-119,900 yuan and limited-time prices of 109,900-113,900 yuan. The exterior continues the fuel version design with a closed front grille, three-section air intakes, dual four-exhaust outlets, connected taillights and a standard electric rear spoiler. Dimensions are 4,740/1,838/1,435mm with a 2,750mm wheelbase. Interior features 256-color ambient lighting, sport seats with 3-mode driver ventilation/heating, SUPER RACE 3.0 track mode, Tencent TTI Sound AI audio, 18 speakers, Dolby Atmos and ENC active noise cancellation. Boot space is 465L, expandable to 1,090L. The 1.5L hybrid powertrain (engine 110kW/220Nm, motor 180kW) delivers 0-100km/h in 6.98 seconds with 4.28L/100km WLTC combined fuel consumption.

Toyota has unveiled the all-new electric C-HR+, a crossover SUV set to launch in Europe later this year. Built on the e-TNGA platform, the C-HR+ is entirely independent of the combustion-engined C-HR. It offers three powertrain options: the base model features a 57.7kWh battery and front-mounted motor with 167 PS, achieving 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and a WLTP range of 455km. The mid-range model upgrades to a 77kWh battery with 224 PS, reaching 0-100km/h in 7.4 seconds and offering 600km of range. The top-tier dual-motor AWD variant produces 343 PS, accelerates to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds, and has a range of 525km. The C-HR+ measures 4,520mm x 1,870mm x 1,595mm with a 2,750mm wheelbase. It features a “Hammerhead” front design, a 14-inch touchscreen, high-mounted digital instrument cluster, and 416 litres of cargo space. The vehicle is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense as standard.

Spy shots of the Audi RS Q5 Sportback have surfaced for the first time. The model features a unique large-mouth grille with horizontal trim and mesh texture, brake cooling vents on the front bumper and widened wheel arches. The rear bumper gets a redesign with dual exhaust outlets. Power comes from the RS 5's 2.9L twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid system with a 25.9kWh battery, achieving a top speed of 250km/h. Interior is expected to follow the Q5 Sportback layout with RS-specific badges, sport steering wheel and sports seats.

Undisguised spy shots of the next-generation BMW 3 Series have surfaced, confirming the new ICE models share identical design language with the electric i3, while retaining quad exhaust outlets. The model launches end of September with production in November, offering gasoline, diesel, mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and M3 high-performance variants. Interior matches the i3 with a new two-spoke steering wheel, panoramic display and sculpted central screen with physical buttons retained. The M350 xDrive features a B58 3.0L turbo inline-six with 48V mild-hybrid producing 443hp/580Nm, paired with 8-speed auto and AWD, completing 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds. Denza has officially launched the N8L pure electric version with 2 variants priced at 299,800-329,800 yuan. The model features a 130.15kWh battery delivering 960km CLTC range, supported by an 800V flash-charging platform with second-generation Blade Battery technology. Power comes from a 370kW single motor rear-wheel drive system. Dimensions are 5,200/1,999/1,820mm with 3,075mm wheelbase, plus a 208L electric frunk. It comes equipped with lidar and the Eye of God 5.0 advanced driver assistance system, supporting urban and highway navigation plus full-scenario automatic parking. The interior features a 50-inch AR-HUD, triple screens, rear entertainment display, 20-speaker Devialet audio and a fridge. The 2+2+2 six-seat layout includes Nappa leather seats with ventilation, heating and massage. Main competitor is the NIO ES8, representing a direct clash between flash-charging and battery-swap technology routes.

Hongqi will begin pre-sales of the G919 on September 22, a mid-to-large hardcore SUV with a non-load-bearing body and 2.0L extended-range system paired with four motors producing 620kW and 1,320Nm, completing 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds with 280km CLTC pure electric range and 1,350km total range. Dimensions are 5,135/2,050/1,950mm with 2,900mm wheelbase. It features a Zoony 384-line lidar and Hongqi Sinan Smart Driving 5.0. Off-road capabilities include front/rear mechanical differentials and energy center lock, with a minimum turning radius of 5.3m (2.5m with Sinan MAX steering). Chassis torsional rigidity reaches 9,500Nm/°. The interior offers a 5-seat layout with co-pilot leg support, rear fridge and fold-out table.
