BYD has revealed the interior of the all-new Yuan Plus, adopting a minimalist design philosophy that abandons the previous generation's controversial personalized elements such as guitar-string door handles. The vehicle is built on a new rear-wheel-drive pure-electric platform with flash-charging technology. Interior upgrades include a larger instrument panel displaying surrounding traffic information, a head-up display, expanded central touchscreen with additional speakers, and a column-mounted shifter freeing up center console space for wireless charging while retaining physical buttons. Exterior dimensions grow to 4,665×1,895×1,675mm with a 2,770mm wheelbase, featuring semi-flush door handles, customizable D-pillar panels, and 18/19-inch wheel options. The rear adopts dual-section high-mount stop lamps and streamlined full-width taillights.

BYD has launched the Song Pro DM-i Feichi Edition, offering four variants with 220km and 301km pure-electric ranges at limited-time prices from RMB 99,900 to RMB 129,900. The model achieves up to 301km CLTC EV range and 1,735km combined range. It features the "3C" technology suite: Yunian-C intelligent damping control for millisecond-level adaptive adjustment; new TSC high-speed tire blowout stability system with millisecond intervention; and DiPilot 100 (God's Eye C) advanced driver assistance, enhancing handling stability and active safety.

Zhongyu will present four models at the Volkswagen Group Night on April 21, including the recently launched Zhongyu 08 (priced 229,900-289,900 yuan), the facelifted Zhongyu 06 (189,900-249,900 yuan), and the world premiere of the Zhongyu 07 plus an all-new model. The Zhongyu 08, the first production vehicle from the Volkswagen-Xpeng collaboration, features dual-chamber air suspension, DCC dynamic chassis control, AI magic carpet preview, dual Turing AI chips and VLA end-to-end architecture. Measuring 5,000/1,954/1,688mm with a 3,030mm wheelbase, it offers single- and dual-motor variants with up to 730km range and 800V fast charging capability.

Mercedes-Benz has officially debuted the all-electric W520 C-Class, the second model on the MB.EA platform following the GLC EV. The launch variant C400 4Matic features dual-motor AWD with 360kW (489PS) and 800Nm, achieving 0-100km/h in four seconds and a top speed of 210km/h. Equipped with a 94kWh lithium-ion battery, it offers up to 762km WLTP range and supports 800V architecture with 330kW DC fast charging, enabling 10-80% recharge in 22 minutes. Dimensions increase significantly over the W206, with a 97mm longer wheelbase at 2,962mm, enhancing cabin space. Additional RWD and AWD variants will follow next year, with the longest-range RWD version estimated at approximately 800km.

Roewe has released interior images of the M7 Dark Horse Edition, set to debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. Designed by former Rolls-Royce design director and Bugatti Veyron creator Jozef Kabaň, the special edition features exclusive blue-black paint with eight-layer advanced spraying technology, blacked-out waterfall grille, window trim, side skirts and 18-inch multi-spoke wheels. The interior retains a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen and 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, with front and rear seat ventilation/heating and massage functions for driver and rear passengers. Power comes from the DMH 6.0 super hybrid system, combining an 82kW 1.5L dedicated hybrid engine with a 137kW electric motor and 19.7kWh battery pack.

The all-new BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase will make its debut on April 22 as a China-exclusive next-generation pure electric mid-size SUV, featuring intelligent optimisation and spatial upgrades over the global version with market launch planned within the year. Exterior design carries over the international model with digital angel wing DRLs and a 3D illuminated grille inspired by classic BMW models, available in nine colours including Mineral White, Arctic Grey and Portimao Blue. Dimensions measure 4,885/1,895/1,635mm with an extended 3,005mm wheelbase—108mm longer than the global version, entirely dedicated to rear passenger space enhancement with exclusive thicker rear seats, significantly improving comfort and strengthening BMW's locally-produced luxury EV portfolio.
