NIO has entered into a strategic partnership with Bosch, covering its three brands—NIO, ONVO and firefly—with focus on intelligent electric vehicle core technologies. The collaboration spans x-by-wire chassis systems including brake and steering control, drivetrain, body electronics and perception modules, as well as battery management systems. The agreement deepens Sino-German cooperation in energy transition and advanced manufacturing. NIO founder and CEO William Li attended the Sino-German Economic Advisory Committee symposium on February 25, engaging with German automotive executives on mutual development opportunities amid global industry electrification and intelligent transformation.

Spy shots of the all-new MG07 have revealed a completely reimagined interior built on a new architecture, sharing minimal technical lineage with its predecessor despite retaining sporty styling cues. The cabin features MG4-inspired family design with a sporty steering wheel, large floating central touchscreen and the MG×OPPO intelligent connectivity system. A column-mounted gear selector frees up center console space for wireless charging and storage, while physical controls are retained for key functions. Rear passenger space is generous with a flat floor. Exterior shots show a long, muscular hood with large grille and roof-mounted LiDAR, indicating advanced autonomous driving capabilities.

Lynk & Co has unveiled the third-generation 03 "Big Wing Edition," set for launch on March 5, 2026. The model features a silver exterior with black roof, large Y-spoke wheels and a prominent three-stage adjustable (0°/8°/16°) carbon fiber rear spoiler engraved with the Ningbo International Circuit map. Power comes from a Drive-E 2.0TD T5 Evo turbocharged engine producing 272 hp and 400 Nm, paired with an Aisin 8AT for 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The interior features a "Scorching Red" color scheme with a flat-bottom sports steering wheel, digital instrument cluster and central touchscreen.

Tesla has launched the seven-seater Model Y Juniper in Europe, offering the third-row option for €2,500 on the Premium AWD variant, bringing the base price to €55,490. Unlike the long-wheelbase Model Y L with its 2-2-2 captain's chair configuration, the standard-wheelbase seven-seater retains the coupé-like roofline with restricted headroom, accessed via folding second-row outer seats. The Model Y L features ISOFIX mounting points and larger headrests absent in the standard version. With Australian certification secured, right-hand drive markets including Malaysia may soon receive the model.

Hyundai Motor Group has signed an MOU with the South Korean government and Jeonbuk State to establish a KRW 9 trillion innovation hub in Saemangeum. The project encompasses an AI data center, robotics manufacturing cluster, 200 MW-class PEM electrolyzer plant, and gigawatt-scale solar infrastructure, with operations commencing from 2027. Through the D.E.S.I.G.N. framework, the Group will develop an AI hydrogen smart city, integrating physical AI, hydrogen economy and intelligent manufacturing technologies to enhance Korea's industrial competitiveness and drive regional economic growth.

Stellantis Malaysia has introduced a mild update to the nine-year-old second-generation Peugeot 3008, maintaining the list price of RM169,388 but offering a RM31,388 rebate for an effective price of RM138,000. Exterior revisions include the new shield logo, 18-inch two-tone turbine alloys from the 408 and updated corporate typography, while the interior gains the latest 12.3-inch i-Cockpit display. The 1.6-litre THP turbo four-cylinder engine continues to deliver 165 PS and 240 Nm through a six-speed Aisin automatic. Despite featuring blind spot monitoring and lane keeping assist, the model lacks autonomous emergency braking. According to Stellantis ASEAN chief Isaac Yeo, the third-generation 3008 remains too costly for the Malaysian market.
