The LiDAR version will upgrade to a LiDAR + Horizon Robotics Journey 6H chip combination, enabling City NOA navigation assist, with delivery expected by end of 2026.

BYD Atto 1 Adds Entry-Level Standard Variant in Indonesia at Rp 199 Million
Nearly a year after its launch in Indonesia, BYD's Atto 1 (known as Seagull elsewhere) has added a new Standard entry-level variant priced at Rp 199 million (approximately RM46,000). All variants come standard with a 30.08 kWh Blade LFP battery delivering around 250 km WLTP range and 30 kW DC fast charging, while the Premium specification upgrades to a 38.88 kWh unit with approximately 320 km WLTP range and 40 kW charging capability. A single front motor producing 75 hp and 135 Nm drives all variants, achieving 0-50 km/h in 4.9 seconds with a 130 km/h top speed. The Premium exclusively features 6 airbags, four-way steering adjustment, six-way powered driver seat, wireless charging, and auto up/down driver window. Three exterior colors are available with a black and grey interior. Warranty coverage includes 6 years/150,000 km for the vehicle, 8 years/160,000 km for the battery, and 8 years/150,000 km for the drive unit.

PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) announced order taking for the Honda HR-V Mugen at GIIAS 2026, priced at 579 million rupiah (approximately RM133,000), representing a 18.4% premium over the RS e:HEV variant. The Mugen edition is exclusive to Platinum White and features a comprehensive accessory package including front and rear under spoilers, side skirts, rear spoiler, carbon-fibre side mirror caps, Mugen side decals, and tailgate emblem. The rear sports the Mugen RS Sport silencer with branded black emblems identifying the brand, model, and e:HEV powertrain. Interior upgrades include Mugen floor mats and scuff plates on all doors. According to Kompas, the HR-V Mugen carries an approximately two-month waiting period with no unit limit; HPM's sales and marketing director Yusak Billy revealed four orders had been received as of August 4. The hybrid powertrain remains unchanged, continuing with a 1.5L naturally-aspirated Atkinson-cycle inline-four engine delivering 106 PS and 127 Nm, paired with an E-CVT where the engine primarily acts as a generator powering an electric motor rated at 131 PS and 253 Nm.
