On April 27, Dongfeng Nissan launched its first mid-high-end pure electric sedan, the N7, priced between 119,900 and 149,900 yuan with five configurations. The N7, built on the "Tianyan Architecture," offers over 600 km range and features an intelligent driving system. It includes premium features like AI smart seats, a dual-zone fridge, and a 2.5K HD touchscreen. The mid-large sedan has dimensions of 4930×1895×1487mm and a wheelbase of 2915mm.

On April 23, Star Charge made a strong appearance at the Auto Shanghai 2025 with the theme “Value to Green: Accelerating Zero-Carbon Living into the V2G Era.” As the world's top-selling charging station brand, Star Charge showcased its innovative achievements in smart energy, including the Home PV-Storage-Charging Green Energy System, the world's fastest automatic charging robotic arm “Armstrong,” and the 2-megawatt liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging product. These products and technologies cover multiple scenarios such as home, outdoor, and public charging, promoting zero-carbon living to new heights.

NIO has completed the delivery of its 100,000th vehicle in Shanghai, becoming the first Chinese brand in the city with an average transaction price over 300,000 yuan and 100,000 users. In 2024, NIO delivered 221,970 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38.7%. The company's annual revenue reached 65.73 billion yuan, up 18.2% year-on-year, with the vehicle gross margin rising to 12%. In 2025, NIO will launch several new models, including the new ES6 and ET5, and the Firefly brand vehicle will be launched in April.

Chery has launched the Explorer 06 AWD Discovery Edition with a standard price of 139,900 RMB, offering a limited-time price of 109,900 RMB, which includes cash and pre-order incentives. The new model features a "fluorescent warrior kit" with a body size of 4552×1905×1789mm, a wheelbase of 2672mm, an approach angle of 21°, a departure angle of 29°, and a maximum wading depth of 605mm. The interior is equipped with a 13.2-inch infotainment screen powered by the 8155 chip, and features such as 50W wireless charging, remote control via mobile app, and a 540° panoramic camera. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.6T engine with a maximum power of 145kW and a peak torque of 290N·m, paired with a 7DCT transmission and an all-scenario intelligent four-wheel drive system.

During the Shanghai Auto Show, Jetour unveiled the right-hand drive version of its eVT5 electric SUV. Positioned as an entry-level B-Segment crossover SUV, the eVT5 measures 4100×1831×1653mm. It features a front-mounted electric motor with 164 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 53.6kWh battery for a range of 410 km. Given Jetour's product plans in Malaysia and the right-hand drive design, the eVT5 is expected to enter the Malaysian market.

At the Chery International Business Summit, Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International, unveiled a new design concept for the Tiggo 4. The concept features a boxy shape with sharp angles, intricate lighting signatures, and triangular side mirrors. The "floating roof" design and "Tiggo 4" wording near the rear door are retained. The current Tiggo 4 will debut in Malaysia next month with Chery's hybrid technology. The shown concept may not represent the final production model.
