Chery has commenced pre-sales of the QQ3 EV, offering four variants with 310km and 420km ranges priced between 68,920 and 89,985 yuan. Toyota Motor North America announced a $1 billion investment in its Kentucky and Indiana manufacturing facilities to address diverse U.S. customer demands. The investment forms part of the company's previously announced $10 billion five-year U.S. capital commitment. This initiative reinforces Toyota's "best-in-town" strategy emphasizing localized production, community engagement, and multi-pathway product diversification. Toyota currently operates 11 U.S. manufacturing plants, employing approximately 50,000 team members and having produced over 35 million vehicles domestically.

Spy shots of the domestically-produced Mercedes-Benz C-Class battery electric vehicle have emerged, revealing the model is built on the 800V MB.EA dedicated electric architecture with a planned year-end launch. Compared to the international variant, the domestic version features extended C-pillar and rear quarter window modifications to enlarge rear window dimensions and improve rear passenger space, while maintaining identical front and rear fascia designs. The global debut is scheduled for April.

The Geely EX5 Thailand variant debuts at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show featuring a new 70.26 kWh battery pack, extending NEDC-rated range to 550 km (approximately 460 km WLTP) from the previous 490 km. Toyota Gazoo Racing announced the GR Heritage Parts Project will reproduce the A80 Supra instrument panel, targeting an autumn 2026 release. The initiative reproduces discontinued genuine parts using modern materials and manufacturing methods to extend the lifespan of classic Toyota vehicles, currently offering over 300 parts across eight models. The dashboard reproduction addresses age-related shrinkage and cracking while faithfully recreating the original embossed grain finish. Distribution will occur through GR Garage locations, Toyota dealerships and JMS outlets with installation services. A restored A80 Supra utilizing available GR Heritage Parts will be exhibited at Automobile Council 2026 from April 10-12 at Makuhari Messe alongside an AE86 restored at GR Garage Mito Keyakidai.

Ford has strategically unified its Ford Pro commercial vehicle operations across South America and Mexico into a single Latin America structure, enhancing synergies through complementary product portfolios and streamlined service for logistics and e-commerce fleet customers. The integration aims to sustain Ford Pro's regional growth momentum since its 2021 Uruguay Transit production launch, now accounting for 20% of Ford's South American sales. In 2025, Ford Pro Brazil achieved 9,000 registrations (30% YoY growth, outperforming the industry's 2.9%), while total South American sales reached 28,000 units, securing a 9% segment share with Ranger and Transit lineups.
