Pre-sale for the SAIC Volkswagen ID.ERA 8X launched on September 28 with official launch on October 12, positioned as a large 5-seat mid-to-large extended-range SUV. Exterior adopts the ID.ERA family design with a closed front face, connected light strip and illuminated VW logo. Dimensions are 5,020/1,997/1,750mm with a 2,970mm wheelbase. Interior features the Snapdragon 8295P chip, 15.6-inch central screen and door panel magic screens, dual zero-gravity front seats, 12L climate fridge and 23-speaker audio. The Momenta R7 system with LiDAR and 26 sensors supports highway and urban NOA. The 1.5L extended-range system with 800V platform offers RWD and AWD, with 51.1kWh and 65.2kWh batteries delivering 260-345km WLTC pure electric range and 1,500km+ total range. High variants feature front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension with dual-chamber air suspension and predictive magic carpet system, 635mm wading depth. Interior spy images of the 212 X03 have been released, continuing the family design language with a three-spoke steering wheel, large floating digital instrument cluster, numerous physical buttons and electronic shifter. Two large knobs behind the gear shifter suggest multiple driving modes for its off-road positioning. The large off-road SUV features body-on-frame construction powered by a 2.3L turbocharged diesel engine (140kW). Dimensions are 5,095/2,038/1,945mm with a 2,950mm wheelbase, 33° approach and 30° departure angles. The exterior features an X-pattern grille, chunky front bumper and coach-style rear doors with full-size spare tire.

The 2027 ORA Good Cat launches on September 29 with exterior retaining the classic design, refined headlight internals and new black wheels with colored brake calipers (225/55 R18). Interior features a large floating central screen, column shifter and circular three-spoke steering wheel. The new 98kW motor offers a 355km range variant, with expected significantly lower pricing—the entry version may drop to the 60,000-yuan level (current model starts at 83,800 yuan). Dimensions are 4,235 (4,242)/1,825/1,596 (1,632)mm with a 2,650mm wheelbase. Features include front wireless charging, heated/ventilated seats, electric tailgate, adaptive high/low beams, panoramic sunroof and L2 ADAS.

The Lynk & Co 02 launched on September 28 as a compact pure electric SUV built on an 800V silicon carbide platform, standard equipped with LiDAR and Qianli Hanshan H5 ADAS. It adopts The Next Day design language with distinctive split headlights and a connected light bar, with LiDAR on the roof. Color options include Sand Dune Beige, Encla Red, Camellia White and exclusive purple. Dimensions are 4,495/1,845/1,573mm with a 2,755mm wheelbase, 35mm longer than the Z20. Interior features a two-spoke steering wheel, column shifter, floating central screen with AI assistant "Super Eva," a 37.5L front fridge, 6.8L center armrest fridge and 23-speaker audio. Powertrain uses a 16-in-1 silicon carbide oil-cooled motor with 245kW rear-mounted single motor, 201km/h top speed, 6C ultra-fast charging, CCD continuously variable damping and tire burst stability control.

Interior spy photos of the Dongfeng Nissan NX7 have emerged, largely following the Nissan N7's design language. The interior features a dual-spoke steering wheel, large floating central screen and digital instrument cluster, without a passenger entertainment screen. It also includes wireless charging, rectangular cup holders and a side-opening armrest. The exterior is youthful and sporty with non-connected daytime running lights, hood creases and front air ducts. Dimensions are 4,785/1,920 (1,932)/1,660 (1,665)mm with a 2,815mm wheelbase, equipped with LiDAR supporting city NOA. The fourth model in the N series, expected to officially launch in Q4.

The Yangwang executive sedan is expected to debut in October with an estimated price exceeding 2 million yuan, approximately 5.5 meters long, similar in size to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. It adopts the same Ding-shaped front face design as the Yangwang U8 with a square, commanding presence and LiDAR on the roof. The body features a short front overhang, long rear overhang and long wheelbase design with coach doors and independent triangular window. The model will debut BYD's solid-state battery with flash charging technology. Yangwang General Manager Hu Xiaoqing stated that each product should have its own distinctive character, leading with forward-looking new technology.
