Lexus LX Teased for Malaysia Market as Flagship Luxury Off-Road SUV
Lexus Malaysia has teased its new large 4×4 flagship on social media, confirming the LX luxury off-road SUV following last year's GX introduction. Based on the Land Cruiser 300, it differentiates through unique styling including an imposing slatted spindle grille, arrow-shaped DRLs with available BladeScan adaptive high-beam technology, and L-shaped taillights. The interior features a wraparound dashboard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system replacing the previous Remote Touch interface, plus a secondary seven-inch touchscreen for climate, chassis, and Multi-Terrain Select controls. A 25-speaker Mark Levinson sound system represents the most speakers on any Lexus. Available in standard seven-seat and ultra-luxurious four-seat Executive configurations, the latter adds heavily-cushioned rear seats, footrest, ottoman, special reading lights, control touchscreen, Qi wireless charging, and tilting rear infotainment screens.
