Jenhoo EV48 Electric Van Debuts at GATE 2025, Launching in Malaysia for RM150k
The Jenhoo EV48 electric panel van made its appearance at the Global Automotive Technology Expo (GATE) 2025, with CAM Malaysia scheduled to launch the model early next year at an estimated price of RM150,000. The vehicle is powered by a 53.58 kWh CATL LFP battery pack paired with an 82 PS/220 Nm rear-mounted electric motor, delivering a CLTC range of 390 kilometres. It offers 6 cubic metres of cargo volume, a 1.4-tonne payload capacity, dual sliding doors, and a B-pillarless design for enhanced loading convenience. Charging capabilities include 6.6 kW AC charging (10-100% in 9 hours) and DC fast charging (20-80% in 45 minutes). The EV48 is backed by a 5-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty and will compete in Malaysia's electric commercial vehicle segment against models such as the BYD T3 and Maxus eDeliver series.
