Ford and Renault Group will co-develop two Ford EVs on Renault’s Ampr platform by 2028: a Fiesta successor built alongside Renault 5 EV in Douai, plus a Renault 4-based crossover. An LCV collaboration is also planned, merging Renault’s scale with Ford’s dynamics to speed Europe’s EV shift.

GWM’s CKD WEY G9 luxury PHEV MPV has debuted in Malaysia. The 5050 mm short-wheelbase seven-seater pairs a 1.5T with dual e-motor Hi4 system for 442 PS/642 Nm and 5.7s 0-100 km/h. A 44.2 kWh battery grants 170 km electric range; combined range tops 1000 km. Features include twin sunroofs, power sliding doors, 21-speaker audio, rear fridge and L2 ADAS; price set below RM300k.

Porsche’s Sonderwunsch team presents the 911 GT3 90 F.A.Porsche edition, limited to 90 cars at USD 387k. Inspired by F.A.’s personal 911 G-model, it features unique F.A. Green paint, 1963 crests, truffle-brown houndstooth upholstery and gold plaques, with deliveries slated for mid-2026.

The facelifted AMG GLB is priced USD 46.9k, up USD 0.7k. Standard L2 ADAS, optional 21-inch AMG wheels and red calipers, plus fingerprint scanner and comfort programs. The 2.0T+48V powertrain still delivers 306 hp, while the RSG starter-generator adds up to 10 kW/150 N·m; peak torque now spans 2500-4000 rpm via an 8-speed DCT.

On Dec 11 Deepal launched the S07 Huawei ADS SE 630 km variant; two trims priced 164,900–174,900 RMB, discounted to 153,900–163,900 RMB. The 4750 mm-long SUV offers 2900 mm wheelbase, 630 km CLTC range and up to 8,000 RMB trade-in subsidy.

Stelato SUV mule, wearing the S9 shell, shows increased ground clearance and dual fuel/charge flaps, pointing to a range-extended powertrain. The boxy production version is slated for 2026 alongside an upcoming MPV.
