On April 28, the State Council Information Office held a press conference where Vice Chairman Zhao Chenxin of the National Development and Reform Commission and others introduced policies for stable employment and economic development. Zhao announced the establishment of a childcare subsidy system, creation of special relending tools, support for service consumption and elderly care industries, and implementation of a consumption boost action plan, including targeted increase of vehicle quotas for key groups in cities with purchase restrictions.

In Q1 2025, new EU car registrations declined by 1.9% year-on-year, with a slight 0.2% drop in March 2025. Battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales grew by 23.9%, capturing 15.2% of the market share. Hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs) increased by 20.7%, accounting for 35.5% of the market. Recently, Xiaomi Auto has renamed the intelligent driving features of its SU7 series to "assistive driving" to clarify the functional boundaries. The "Xiaomi Pilot Pro" on the standard version of SU7 has been renamed to "Xiaomi Assistive Driving Pro," while the "Xiaomi Pilot Max" on SU7 Pro and Max has been renamed to "Xiaomi End-to-End Assistive Driving." This change aligns with the requirements for intelligent connected vehicle product access and publicity as emphasized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Recently, spy photos of the Foton Titanium 7 have been exposed online. The model is positioned as an urban new energy SUV with a monocoque body structure, and its body size is close to that of the Foton Leopard 5. In terms of appearance, the Titanium 7 continues the rugged style of the Leopard 5, with sharp lines, elongated headlights, and a square spare tire cover on the rear. It also features a suspected rooftop laser radar. The interior layout is similar to the Leopard 5, equipped with a floating center console screen. Powerwise, it is expected to be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, with a combined power of 505 kW and a pure electric range of 125 km. The starting price of the Titanium 7 is expected to be under 200,000 RMB.

The interior of the 2025 NIO ES6 has been exposed, with significant upgrades in appearance, interior, and chip. The interior has been completely refreshed, featuring a new horizontal screen and a column shifter, with wireless charging panels and hidden cup holders added below the center console. In terms of appearance, the headlights have been optimized, with a more elongated design and multiple wheel options available. The powertrain continues with the dual-motor setup, offering a maximum power of 360 kW and a peak torque of 700 Nm, with CLTC ranges of 500km and 625km, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 4.5 seconds.
