Dongfeng Nissan Launches Its First Mid-High-End Pure Electric Sedan N7, Priced at 119,900-149,900 Yuan
On April 27, Dongfeng Nissan launched its first mid-high-end pure electric sedan, the N7, priced between 119,900 and 149,900 yuan with five configurations. The N7, built on the "Tianyan Architecture," offers over 600 km range and features an intelligent driving system. It includes premium features like AI smart seats, a dual-zone fridge, and a 2.5K HD touchscreen. The mid-large sedan has dimensions of 4930×1895×1487mm and a wheelbase of 2915mm.
Press Conference by the State Council: Multiple Departments Introduce Policies for Stable Employment and High-Quality Development
On April 28, the State Council Information Office held a press conference where Vice Chairman Zhao Chenxin of the National Development and Reform Commission and others introduced policies for stable employment and economic development. Zhao announced the establishment of a childcare subsidy system, creation of special relending tools, support for service consumption and elderly care industries, and implementation of a consumption boost action plan, including targeted increase of vehicle quotas for key groups in cities with purchase restrictions.
EU Car Registrations Decline in Q1 2025, Electric Vehicle Market Share Grows
In Q1 2025, new EU car registrations declined by 1.9% year-on-year, with a slight 0.2% drop in March 2025. Battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales grew by 23.9%, capturing 15.2% of the market share. Hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs) increased by 20.7%, accounting for 35.5% of the market. Traditional fuel vehicles saw a decline, with gasoline car registrations down 20.6% and diesel cars down 27.1%, resulting in market shares of 28.7% and 9.5% respectively.

The 2026 Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback mid-cycle refresh has been spied in testing, featuring comprehensive upgrades to its exterior, interior, and powertrain. The exterior will see adjustments to the headlights' internal structure, front bumper design, and grille decorations. The interior will be equipped with a curved screen combining a 1.9-inch instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment display, enhancing the vehicle's tech and luxury appeal. Based on the MEB platform, the new model is expected to feature a larger battery pack for improved range and charging speed. 2026 Leaping C10 Pre-Sales Start at RMB 129,800, with Upgraded Configurations
On April 30th, Leaping Car announced the pre-sales of the 2026 C10, with a price range of RMB 129,800 to RMB 149,800. The new model offers both pure electric and extended-range versions, with comprehensive upgrades in range, intelligent features, design, and driving performance. It introduces a new exterior color, "Xilu Purple," with hidden electric door handles and 50W wireless fast charging for mobile phones. The smart cockpit is equipped with the Qualcomm 8295P chip, supporting end-to-end assisted driving with a lidar system. The motor's peak power is increased to 220kW, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 5.9 seconds, and the pure electric version features an 800V high-voltage fast charging platform with a range of up to 605km.
