Magyar Suzuki Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of Suzuki in Hungary, has reached a significant milestone with accumulated automobile production of 4 million units on February 8, 2024. Since beginning production in October 1992 with the Swift model, the company has manufactured various models including WagonR+, Suzuki's first global strategic model Swift, and Splash. Currently producing the Vitara and S-CROSS models, it achieved this production volume in 31 years and 5 months with the Hungarian specification Vitara. As Suzuki's sole production hub in Europe, Magyar Suzuki serves not only the Hungarian market but also exports to 123 countries and regions worldwide, including Europe and Latin America.

New Land Rover Defender Unveiled: Detail Tweaks and Interior Upgrades
The new Land Rover Defender has been unveiled with minor exterior tweaks and interior upgrades. Toyota Kirloskar Motor Launches Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive 48V Variants
On June 2, 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of the Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive variants equipped with an advanced 48V system. These variants feature a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a belt-integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery, offering smoother acceleration, quieter operation, and improved fuel efficiency. Since its debut in 2009, the Fortuner has set the benchmark in the premium SUV segment with its bold design and all-terrain capability. The Legender adds a dynamic and premium presence with dual-tone body colors. Both models come with a host of safety features, including seven airbags and vehicle stability control. Customers can benefit from up to 8-year financing plans, five years of complimentary roadside assistance, and a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty. Bookings are open from June 2, with deliveries starting in the third week of June.

The deliveries included 13,270 vehicles from the NIO brand, 6,281 from the ONVO brand, and 3,680 from the FIREFLY brand. As of May 31, 2025, cumulative deliveries for the year reached 89,225, up 34.7% year-over-year, with a total cumulative deliveries of 760,789 vehicles. SAIC Volkswagen ID.3 GTX Package Model to Launch on June 14
On May 31, 2025, SAIC Volkswagen announced at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show that the ID.3 GTX package model will launch on June 14. The new model features a GT sports package, black suede interior, and 20-inch wheels, with a slightly increased body length to 4266mm. The exterior is equipped with a grey-white-red color scheme, honeycomb bumpers, and high-gloss black trim. The interior is fully blacked out with suede upholstery, red stitching, a floating center console, and a rotary gear shift. The powertrain includes a 125kW rear-wheel-drive motor and a 53.6kWh battery.
