The 2026 Honda City facelift launches in Malaysia, with the sedan arriving first and the hatchback following, both being second revisions of the current generation. The line-up is trimmed to four variants: petrol E, V and RS plus the sole e:HEV RS. The City V measures 4,577mm, 5mm longer than the 2023 model, with width and height unchanged at 1,748mm and 1,467mm. Non-RS front ends use a downturned main inlet, with slimmer headlights, a new honeycomb grille and the Honda logo relocated above the grille, while the rear gains a diffuser-style insert and vertical reflectors. The V gets 16-inch two-tone turbine wheels; the spare wheel is dropped for a tyre repair kit across the range. The interior gains a 10-inch infotainment screen with wireless CarPlay, a seven-inch TFT cluster, combination leather and blue ambient lighting. Power remains the 1.5L i-VTEC (121PS/145Nm) with CVT, while Honda Sensing is standard and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert is newly added. Priced at RM94,900 OTR without insurance, covered by an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty.
