Mercedes-AMG unveiled the AMG GT SUV at its 140th anniversary celebration in Stuttgart – the brand's first native pure EV high-performance SUV since becoming independent, built on the exclusive AMG.EA platform. Positioned as a mid-to-large pure EV high-performance SUV, it directly targets the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric, with global deliveries starting in early 2027. Three variants are offered: GT 63, GT 55 and GT 53. The GT 63 and GT 55 use three axial-flux motors (1 front, 2 rear) producing a combined 860kW (1,169HP) with ~2,000Nm torque, achieving 0-100km/h in ~2.5s and 0-200km/h in 6.8s at 270km/h top speed. Battery options are 106kWh and 128kWh with 800V architecture delivering up to 700km WLTP range, and 710kW charging adds 450km in just 10 minutes.

The 2027 Tank 500 is set to launch on October 23, with pre-orders now open. Buyers can enjoy a RMB 3,000 deposit discount for RMB 9,000 off the final payment, plus exclusive optional benefits worth up to RMB 12,000. China's MIIT released the 412th batch of road motor vehicle producer and product announcements, with Anhui Zhijie New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. on the list. After the announcement period, Luxeed will be approved for independent vehicle manufacturing qualification, allowing it to independently declare vehicle models, manufacture vehicles and bear legal responsibility without relying on Chery as a contract manufacturer. The production address remains unchanged, with capacity transferred from Chery to Zhijie. The independent qualification enhances the company's financing valuation and supply chain autonomy, supporting plans for a future IPO.

GAC Trumpchi's Yue 7 AWD Satellite Communication version officially launches at 225,800 yuan (limited-time: 217,800 yuan). Hongqi G919 is set to officially launch on October 25, with pre-sale of 3 variants starting from RMB 359,800 to 439,800. Positioned as a mid-large range-extended hard-core SUV, it adopts body-on-frame structure, quad-motor powertrain and three differential locks, equipped with Hongqi Sinan Intelligent Driving 5.0Max system.
