The front light signature clearly shows Ocean Network design language, though the overall profile differs significantly from the Ocean-V concept shown at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, leaning toward a more traditional MPV style. Equipment includes a large grille, conventional door handles and a roof-mounted LiDAR. The Ocean-V concept was a five-seat MPV featuring a sliding center screen, 180-degree rotating seats, auto-retracting steering wheel, front-row screen extension, hidden tables and one-key bed mode – whether these carry over to the production model remains to be seen. BYD has announced an increase in investment for its Brazilian EV factory from BRL 3 billion to BRL 5.5 billion. The facility, located in the Salvador metropolitan area of Bahia state, is set to have an initial production capacity of 150,000 units annually, manufacturing both electric and hybrid vehicles. Expected to commence operations within the year, BYD's commitment also includes the construction of five residential buildings for 4,230 employees, highlighting the company's long-term dedication and support for sustainable development in Brazil.
