BYD has announced an increase in investment for its Brazilian EV factory from BRL 3 billion to BRL 5.5 billion. The facility, located in the Salvador metropolitan area of Bahia state, is set to have an initial production capacity of 150,000 units annually, manufacturing both electric and hybrid vehicles. The Hongqi TianGong 07 officially launched October 10 with 3 variants, priced at 167,900-197,900 yuan after benefits. Eastern aesthetics minimalist design features a closed grille, distinctive headlights and Hongqi logo in four colors.
