Omoda C7 to Make Public Debut at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2026 as Official Automotive Partner

Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia has been named the official automotive partner of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2026, where the Omoda C7 will make its first public appearance. The C7 PHEV debuted domestically at the fashion event's official launch on July 16, with both models on display at the Esplanade, KLCC Park from August 3-9. The brand will also unveil a special collaboration with BEHATI, a Malaysian contemporary fashion label blending traditional cultural attire with modern avant-garde streetwear. The petrol C7 was first previewed at the Malaysia Autoshow last May, with road trial sightings following before its presentation to the newly launched Gen-O community in June. KLFW will offer the first public view of the Malaysian-spec CKD model. At its latest showing last weekend, the SUV was presented in front-wheel drive form, unlike the AWD version at last year's Autoshow. The petrol C7 is equipped with a 1.6L turbocharged inline-four engine producing 197 PS.
