Geely Auto Group will debut its first native Robotaxi prototype at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, developed on the Geely L4 AI Digital Architecture integrating WAM World Action Model and L4 autonomous driving technology. The vehicle features breakthrough onboard computing power and perception hardware capabilities with physical AI integration. Teaser images suggest an MPV body structure with star-ring lighting. During the show, Geely will showcase its Global AI 2.0 and Global Safety 2.0 technology systems across Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Galaxy and China Star brands, with a dedicated tech ecosystem booth featuring Super Eva, Qianli Haohan G-ASD 4.0 and Intelligent Egg Cabin innovations.

Mercedes-Benz has officially debuted the all-electric W520 C-Class, the second model on the MB.EA platform following the GLC EV. The launch variant C400 4Matic features dual-motor AWD with 360kW (489PS) and 800Nm, achieving 0-100km/h in four seconds and a top speed of 210km/h. Equipped with a 94kWh lithium-ion battery, it offers up to 762km WLTP range and supports 800V architecture with 330kW DC fast charging, enabling 10-80% recharge in 22 minutes. Dimensions increase significantly over the W206, with a 97mm longer wheelbase at 2,962mm, enhancing cabin space. Additional RWD and AWD variants will follow next year, with the longest-range RWD version estimated at approximately 800km.

Zeekr has announced the 2026 Zeekr 009 full-size MPV will open pre-sales at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, with Q2 market launch planned. The facelift upgrades to a full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture and Thor-U intelligent driving chip, while introducing a new seven-seat Home variant targeting multi-child families and group travel. The seven-seater features multi-angle power adjustment, ventilation and heating for all seats, dual zero-gravity second-row seats with 22-point massage, rotating captain's chairs, a 17-inch OLED ceiling screen and Zeekr 9X-equivalent Naim audio. Exterior retains the vertical chrome grille and "Light Trace" DRL design, with dimensions unchanged at 5,217/2,024/1,812(1,818)mm and a 3,205mm wheelbase.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has relocated and upgraded its Miri, Sarawak showroom to a 4S centre (sales, service, spare parts, and body and paint), spanning 21,669 square feet and operated by authorised dealer Auto Pacifica. The facility showcases latest models including the Xforce, and features 13 service bays and six body and paint bays staffed by certified technicians. MMM CEO Takashi Sakamaki stated the upgrade strengthens customer commitment and ownership experience. Located at Autocity Eastwood Town Centre, Miri Bypass, the centre operates Monday-Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 10am-3pm.

FAW-Volkswagen has officially launched the ID. AURA T6 electric mid-size SUV on April 21, featuring a five-seat layout. As the first model built on the CEA electronic and electrical architecture with "central computing + zonal control" configuration, it employs a new premium intelligent driving system developed by CARIZON—a Volkswagen Group and Horizon Robotics joint venture—equipped with LiDAR and autonomous driving indicator lights. Exterior highlights include an illuminated VW logo, full-width ring lighting and semi-flush door handles. The AURA lineup will launch at least two models in 2026, covering PHEV, EREV and BEV powertrains.

Kia Sales Malaysia has launched the eight-seater variant of the facelifted KA4 Carnival, priced at RM238,888, positioning between the seven-seater (RM248,888) and duty-exempt 11-seater commercial variant (RM188,888). All three models share a 2.2-litre Smartstream D four-cylinder turbodiesel engine producing 199PS and 440Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, achieving 6.5L/100km WLTP fuel consumption and 900km range. The eight-seater mirrors the seven-seater's exterior with 19-inch two-tone alloys, Star Map LED lighting and powered sliding doors. Bookings made this month receive RM6,000 in complimentary fuel.
