Geely Riddara Thailand is evaluating plans for a local EV production facility following its October 2024 market entry with the RD6 electric pick-up. General manager Cao Feng expressed confidence in the long-term growth potential of BEV pick-ups despite current market slowdowns, citing superior energy efficiency over fossil fuel counterparts. The Proton X90 seven-seater SUV is set to receive its first facelift, with leaked brochures revealing a streamlined three-variant lineup: Lite, Prime and Prime X.
