Ford has announced that the new model year Kuga will feature BlueCruise hands-free driving technology from April, making the semi-autonomous system available on one of Europe's most popular SUVs. Toyota has unveiled the fifth-generation Highlander SUV, transitioning exclusively to battery-electric powertrains and replacing the previous petrol and hybrid variants. Built on a modified TNGA-K platform, the three-row BEV is manufactured at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, Kentucky, with batteries produced at the new Liberty, North Carolina plant, marking Toyota's first US-assembled BEV.
