Toyota Motor Corporation will livestream its All-New Sports Models World Premiere on December 5 at 11:00 a.m. JST via its official website and YouTube channel, featuring English interpretation. The 30-minute event will be archived with full presentation texts and official photos posted post-event, marking Toyota's latest expansion in the sports vehicle segment.

Leapmotor launched the Lafa5 electric compact hatchback on November 27, offering five variants priced from 97,800 to 121,800 yuan (92,800-116,800 yuan limited-time offer). Built on LEAP 3.5 architecture B platform, the vehicle delivers up to 605km range and features an 8295 chip and LiDAR. Customers can enjoy launch incentives worth 24,900 yuan plus four lifetime warranty programs.

Lexus re-displayed the LFA Concept, now confirmed as a pure EV successor to the V10 icon. Toyota GAZOO Racing unveiled the GR GT road-legal hypercar and its FIA-GT3 sibling. The hybrid 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 plus single-motor targets 650 PS and 850 Nm, uses an all-aluminium chassis and CFRP panels, exceeds 320 km/h, and is scheduled for 2027 production.

On 5 Feb Landa unveiled a battery-doubling scheme for its swap network: 8,000 new packs will be added by mid-January, lifting total Landa-compatible stock to more than 16,000—twice the original level—to cover Spring Festival peak demand. Deployment began in November with 800+ packs already in place. As of 5 Dec the network counts 2,252 swap stations nationwide (657 on highways) and 9.36 million cumulative swaps.
