BYD's compact SUV Yuan UP DM-i made its European debut, offering 90km pure electric range and 1000km total range. The plug-in hybrid model retains the design of its EV counterpart and features the fifth-generation DM system with a 1.5L engine and electric motor. Currently, the Yuan UP is only available in pure electric variants in China, priced from 74,800 to 119,800 yuan.

FAW-Volkswagen's all-new Tayron L PHEV midsize SUV will launch in Q1 2026. Retaining the fuel version's design, it features VW's new energy front fascia with three-section star-ring light bar, illuminated logo and IQ.Light intelligent lighting. The left rear houses a charging port, right rear a fuel inlet. The plug-in hybrid system delivers over 100km CLTC pure electric range, with a new Maji Blue color option.

GAC Toyota's mid-to-large intelligent EV sedan bZ7 will launch in March 2026, priced in the 200,000-yuan range. Developed by Toyota's China engineering team, it measures 5130×1965×1506mm with a 3020mm wheelbase. The interior features HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 with a large floating screen and Momenta's ADAS using an end-to-end large model. The manufacturer offers comprehensive policies covering purchase tax subsidies, battery fire liability, ADAS accident responsibility, and battery degradation.

At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Avatr and Huawei upgraded their strategic partnership to HI PLUS joint-creation mode, covering product development, marketing, and channel integration. The collaboration plans 17 new models by 2030, featuring Huawei's QianKun ADS L3 and next-generation HarmonyOS Cockpit. Avatr has joined Huawei's QianKun APP and co-established flagship stores. A "Seven-Star Intelligence & Beauty" premium service program was launched. Avatr's 11.5 billion RMB investment for a 10% stake in Huawei's Yinwang subsidiary further cements the deepest OEM partnership.

The next-generation Lexus ES mid-to-large sedan will be imported to China in April 2026, with current models priced at 299,900-488,900 yuan. Featuring a new design language with coupe-style silhouette and full-width taillights, the interior boasts a digital instrument cluster and dual floating screens. Powertrain options include the ES 300h hybrid (2.5L+E-CVT, 160kW combined output) and pure electric ES 350e/ES 500e variants equipped with high-capacity battery packs.

iCAR V27 large extended-range SUV will open blind orders in December and launch in March 2026, priced between 200,000-300,000 yuan. The flagship model features a 2910mm wheelbase, a 1.5T EREV powertrain with 335kW AWD variant, 200km CLTC electric range, and over 1,000km combined range. Higher trims will feature LiDAR and Horizon Robotics chips for advanced driver assistance.
