Tesla Malaysia has commissioned a new V4 Supercharger site at Pavilion Damansara Heights, adding four 250 kW DC bays to complement the mall’s existing six Destination Chargers. The network now totals 16 Supercharging stations (72 units) and 16 Destination Charging stations (73 units) nationwide. Further expansions are slated for Nexus Bangsar South, Queensbay Mall Penang and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey by year-end. The company reiterated its 2026 commitment to open at least 30% of DC fast chargers to non-Tesla EVs under the BEV Global Leaders programme.

Charge+, Southeast Asia’s largest EV-CPO, has launched KL’s fastest 350 kW hyper-charging hub at KL Eco City Mall together with Xpeng and SP Setia. Open to all brands but offering Xpeng owners exclusive discounts, the five-bay site anchors the partners’ 20-location regional network and Charge+’s 5,000 km Singapore–Hanoi EV corridor.

Changan’s facelifted CS55PLUS PHEV 125 km Zhiyue debuted on Jan 4, priced CNY 112,900. The compact SUV adopts the “Horizon” design language, measures 4550×1868×1675 mm on a 2656 mm wheelbase and rides on 225/55 R19 tyres. Tianshu Vision ADAS bundles L2+ functions—ALC, UDLC, LDC, remote parking—via five HD cameras. A Ne 1.5 L dedicated hybrid engine (70 kW/125 N·m) pairs with a 158 kW/330 N·m PMSM motor and 18.4 kWh LFP battery for 125 km CLTC electric range.

On Nov 4 Audi launched the refreshed S6 executive sport sedan at CNY 858,800. The model gains a blacked-out honeycomb grille, gloss-black rings, sculpted hood and slimmer headlamps for added aggression. Equipment is upgraded while the 2.9 TFSI V6 mild-hybrid and quattro all-wheel drive are expected to carry over, preserving its flagship performance status.

Baojun confirms the Yep 2nd Anniversary Edition will launch on Nov 7. The mini electric SUV keeps the Square Box+ styling but adds a smog-blue dopamine finish and color-matched aero wheels. VW will unveil the facelifted Golf MK8.5 at ACE 2025 (Nov 8-9, SCCC). The GTI’s EA888 2.0T now makes 265 PS/370 Nm via 7-speed DSG, while the R-Line sticks with 150 PS 1.4 TSI and an 8AT. IQ-Light matrix LEDs, 19-inch “telephone-dial” wheels (GTI) and a 12.9-inch infotainment with ChatGPT and physical steering-wheel buttons headline the updates. Admission is free.
