Proton suddenly released the official images and specifications of the 2026 Saga's first batch, confirming that the new model adopts the third-generation chassis and upgrades to the AMA architecture. The exterior features standard LED projector headlights, a full-width LED taillight, and 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels for the first time. The interior design incorporates two vertical screens, forming a 16-inch "total area" with relatively thick black frames. Safety achieves a breakthrough with six airbags, AEB, LDW, BSM, and FDA, but lacks ACC. The powertrain has been updated to a new 1.5L NA engine, with the high-end variant equipped with a Punch CVT, delivering a combined fuel consumption of 4.9 L/100 km.
