Built on the same “Thin, Light & Wise” ethos as the larger 0 Saloon/0 SUV, the α features a low yet roomy body, wide stance, one-piece front/rear screen lighting and Asimo OS plus Level 3 autonomy, forming part of seven 0 Series models due by 2030.

Tesla Malaysia Energises Pavilion Damansara Heights with 4-Cab V4 Superchargers
Tesla Malaysia has commissioned a new V4 Supercharger site at Pavilion Damansara Heights, adding four 250 kW DC bays to complement the mall’s existing six Destination Chargers. The network now totals 16 Supercharging stations (72 units) and 16 Destination Charging stations (73 units) nationwide. Further expansions are slated for Nexus Bangsar South, Queensbay Mall Penang and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey by year-end. The company reiterated its 2026 commitment to open at least 30% of DC fast chargers to non-Tesla EVs under the BEV Global Leaders programme.

Charge+, Southeast Asia’s largest EV-CPO, has launched KL’s fastest 350 kW hyper-charging hub at KL Eco City Mall together with Xpeng and SP Setia. Open to all brands but offering Xpeng owners exclusive discounts, the five-bay site anchors the partners’ 20-location regional network and Charge+’s 5,000 km Singapore–Hanoi EV corridor.
US New Car Sales Reach 15.9 Million in 2024, a Five-Year High
In 2024, new car sales in the US reached 15.9 million units, up 2.2% year-on-year, marking a five-year high. This growth was driven by replenished inventories, higher incentives, and surging demand for hybrid vehicles. General Motors led with 2.7 million units sold, while Toyota saw a 3.7% increase, boosted by models like the Camry and RAV4, which are offered only as hybrids in the US. Ford sold nearly twice as many hybrids as EVs in 2024. However, sales for Stellantis and Tesla declined compared to 2023.

Beijing Hyundai EO Yi-ou Electric SUV Launched from RMB 119,800, Up to 722 km CLTC Range
Beijing Hyundai’s first ground-up EV, the compact EO Yi-ou, hit the market on 29 Oct with three trims priced RMB 119,800-149,800. Pixel-style lighting and active grille distinguish the 4615mm-long, 2750mm-wheelbase body. All versions get a 27-inch integrated display, cyber-eye HUD, suede/leather trim and dual 15W wireless chargers. Two power levels—160kW FWD and 233kW AWD—pair with 64.2/88.1kWh LFP batteries for 518-722km CLTC range and four-stage regen plus one-pedal mode.

iCaur V23 RHD Previewed in Malaysia, Estimated from RM145k, Launch by Year-End
Freshly arrived iCaur Malaysia previewed the right-hand-drive V23, priced RM145k-RM155k and due for launch by year-end. Riding on a separate platform from the 03, the 4.22m-long boxy SUV blends retro 4×4 looks with 200mm ground clearance, 600mm wading depth and 42°/40° approach/departure angles. Inside: 15.4in centre screen, 8.88in round digital cluster, flexible cargo 234-1,366L. Two powertrains: 2WD 136PS/180Nm RWD and iWD dual-motor 211PS/292Nm AWD, 0-100km/h in 11s/7.5s. Batteries: 59.93kWh LFP (NEDC 360km) and 81.76kWh NMC (NEDC 430km); DC fast-charge 85/104kW, AC 6.6kW, V2L 3.3kW.
