On 26 Sept, Li Auto officially launched the i6, its new full-size electric SUV, priced at RMB 249,800. The single-variant model keeps the brand’s low-drag “shark” design, offers five seats, and comes standard with CDC dampers. Early buyers (orders before 31 Oct) receive RMB 35k worth of perks: RMB 10k cash discount, RMB 15k dual-chamber air suspension, RMB 5k compressor fridge and RMB 5k quiet soft-close doors. Deliveries begin 27 Sept; Li targets steady monthly sales of 9–10k units.

Spy shots show the Genesis G80 hybrid still wrapped in heavy camouflage ahead of its Q3 2026 launch alongside the GV80 hybrid. A long-wheelbase variant (G80 HEV LWB) is also caught testing and is tipped for Q4, featuring G90-style power-operated rear doors to enhance rear-passenger prestige while retaining the regular model’s exterior design.

Perodua Traz ICE Launched from RM76.1k: 471 L Boot, 210 mm Ground Clearance, 6 Airbags & AEB Standard
Perodua’s ICE-powered Traz landed 17 Dec: 1.5X RM76,100, 1.5H RM81,100 (two-tone RM82k). Based on the ASEAN Toyota Yaris Cross, it measures 4,310×1,770×1,655 mm with a 2,620 mm wheelbase, 210 mm ground clearance and 471 L boot, both besting the Proton X50. The 2NR-VE 1.5-litre NA + D-CVT combo delivers 106 PS/138 Nm and 21.3 km/L. Standard safety includes 6 airbags, AEB, LDW, BSM; the 1.5H adds powered tailgate with kick sensor, 360° camera, auto climate control and six speakers, but no ACC. Five colours are offered; GearUp accessories add LED DRLs and leather seats.
