On Sept 23, AITO unveiled the all-new M7 in 12 trims priced $27.98-37.98k. Dual BEV/EREV powertrains and 5/6-seat layouts are offered; top variants feature 192-line LiDAR and HUAWEI ADS 4, delivering 710 km BEV or 1 625 km combined range. Upgrades include zero-gravity driver seat, rear entertainment screen and cabin fridge.

Landa L60 Violet Edition Launches: From CNY 157,900 with BaaS, 666 Units Only
On Dec 18 Landa Auto launched the limited-run L60 Violet Edition. The SUV costs CNY 214,900 outright or CNY 157,900 with BaaS battery subscription; only 666 units are available. Based on the RWD variant (Cd 0.229), it adds Violet haze paint, 20-inch glossy-black wheels, a fold-out rear-right table and a two-tone lilac-white leather interior with marble-effect trim. Customers who lock any L60 order by Dec 31 can save up to CNY 41,000 and share a CNY 110 million gift pool via the Landa App.

TQ Wuling Bingo Launches in Malaysia from RM62,800, WLTP 337 km, CKD Tax-Free Until End-2027
Tan Chong Motor officially introduced the TQ Wuling Bingo in Malaysia on 17 Dec, priced RM67,800 (Pro) and RM72,800 (Max); first 500 buyers receive RM5,000 rebate, netting RM62,800/RM67,800. Built locally (CKD), the 3950×1708×1580 mm hatchback drives a 68 PS/150 Nm front motor fed by 31.9/37.9 kWh LFP batteries rated 273/337 km WLTP. Both support 50 kW DC and 7 kW AC charging. Standard kit includes LED lights, twin 10.25-inch displays with CarPlay/Android Auto, six airbags, cruise control and BSM—no AEB/ACC. Eight-year battery & motor warranties plus a complimentary 7 kW home charger are provided.

Mercedes-Benz VLE Electric MPV Teased, 800-V Architecture Debuts March 2026
Mercedes-Benz has released teaser images of the all-electric VLE MPV, the first model built on the dedicated VAN.EA architecture. Supporting 800-V charging and offered in FWD or AWD configurations, the van seats up to eight. Signature star-shaped DRLs and an illuminated closed grille highlight the design. Its world premiere is set for 10 March 2026, with local production by Fujian Benz and a future VLS lineup to follow.

Mercedes-Benz GLS 2.5T Classic Debuts at ¥968k, Becomes New Entry Point
Mercedes-Benz launched the 2026 GLS 450 4MATIC Classic at ¥968,000, now the most affordable GLS. A 2.5T turbo plus electric compressor and 48V mild-hybrid deliver 367 hp and 500 Nm, propelling the SUV to 100 km/h in 6.3 s while returning 10.3 L/100 km WLTC—0.2 s slower and 0.4 L thirstier than the 3.0T. Equipment mirrors the Dynamic trim, saving buyers ¥92k.
