Tesla Malaysia has commissioned a new V4 Supercharger site at Pavilion Damansara Heights, adding four 250 kW DC bays to complement the mall’s existing six Destination Chargers. The network now totals 16 Supercharging stations (72 units) and 16 Destination Charging stations (73 units) nationwide. Further expansions are slated for Nexus Bangsar South, Queensbay Mall Penang and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey by year-end. The company reiterated its 2026 commitment to open at least 30% of DC fast chargers to non-Tesla EVs under the BEV Global Leaders programme.

Charge+, Southeast Asia’s largest EV-CPO, has launched KL’s fastest 350 kW hyper-charging hub at KL Eco City Mall together with Xpeng and SP Setia. Open to all brands but offering Xpeng owners exclusive discounts, the five-bay site anchors the partners’ 20-location regional network and Charge+’s 5,000 km Singapore–Hanoi EV corridor.

On 5 Nov 2025, Zeekr launched the facelifted Zeekr X compact electric SUV in three trims. MSRP ranges from RMB 155,800 to 175,800, but a trade-in incentive cuts the price to RMB 145,800-165,800 until 31 Dec. The 2,750-mm-wheelbase model retains its minimalist design, adds six new colors and features a 14.6-inch sliding center screen, 50 W wireless phone charging and a 5.7-liter central refrigerator. Early orders receive up to RMB 34,000 in limited-time benefits.

Despite October’s broader manufacturing expansion, Indonesia’s component sector is yet to recover, GIAMM reports. Four-wheel OEM orders fell ~10% and two-wheel/export demand is flat; 70% of sales remain domestic, 30% export, with aftermarket fast-moving parts the only buffer. Local suppliers await the end of EV import incentives to compete for electrification opportunities.

The 2.5L SkyActiv-G plus motor delivers 323HP/500Nm, paired with a 17.8kWh battery for 65km EV range and 1.6L/100km combined fuel consumption. Double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension ride on 20-inch alloys. Standard kit includes full-LED lighting, panoramic roof, dual 12.3-inch displays, Bose 12-speaker audio, ventilated/heated captain chairs, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and full i-Activsense driver-assist suite.

iCAR’s flagship V27, a mid-large extended-range SUV, will presale on March 3 and launch March 20, 2026, priced 200-300k RMB. The rugged design features slim grille, square LED rings and wide silver skid plate, marking the brand’s first range-extender model.
