Arcfox T1 has started blind orders, with display vehicles arriving at over 500 stores in 214 cities nationwide. The pre-sales launch event will be held at 19:30 on August 22. The vehicle features the ARC-FLOW concept design language, with a rounded body and a narrow-top, wide-bottom rear design. The distinctive taillights and spoiler add a sporty touch. The interior is equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, 540° panoramic imaging, and other features. The rear seats can be fully reclined to increase storage space, meeting consumer demands.

On August 17, the Audi E5 Sportback, a new mid-size model from SAIC Volkswagen Audi, officially began pre-sales with four configurations priced from 235,900 to 319,900 RMB. Malaysia's Second Minister of Finance, Amir Khan, announced that a targeted RON95 gasoline subsidy will be implemented in the second half of 2025. The plan will use the Malaysian card (MyKad) system combined with a dual-pricing mechanism, with subsidized and market prices. The subsidy will be distributed via the MyKad system, allowing eligible individuals to enjoy discounted prices at gas stations. Currently, the MyKad system is used to distribute the SARA basic assistance fund to 5.4 million people. The government is still finalizing the details of the subsidy implementation.

Xiaomi President Lu Weibing revealed during a recent earnings call that Europe will be the first overseas market for Xiaomi's electric vehicles (EVs) in 2027. This follows previous intentions to sell EVs overseas without specifying a market. A photo of an SU7 Ultra with a German license plate posted by Lu last month hinted at this move. In Q2 2025, Xiaomi reported a total revenue increase of 30.5% YoY to 116 billion yuan, with innovative businesses, including EVs and AI, generating 21.3 billion yuan, a 233.9% YoY increase. Despite an operating loss of 300 million yuan in these businesses, it is down from the 500 million yuan loss in Q1. Xiaomi delivered 81,302 EVs in Q2 2025, up from 75,869 units in Q1. Since the launch of its first EV, the SU7, in March 2024, Xiaomi has seen consistent growth, with cumulative deliveries now exceeding 300,000 units. The company also highlighted that its first SUV, the YU7, achieved 240,000 locked-in orders within 18 hours of opening order books and currently operates 335 EV sales centers across 92 cities in China.

As the first mid-size SUV of HarmonyOS Smart Drive, the interior of Shangjie H5 was officially released on August 20th. The vehicle features a two-tone color scheme, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a floating center console screen, a full LCD instrument panel, and the HUAWEI SOUND audio system. The rear seats are equipped with HUAWEI MagLink interfaces, supporting multi-screen interactive functions. The exterior adopts the HarmonyOS Smart Drive family design language, with dimensions of 4780/1910/1657 (1664) mm and a wheelbase of 2840mm. It offers both extended-range and pure electric versions, with the extended-range version having a CLTC comprehensive range of over 1300km and the pure electric version available with 150kW and 180kW motor configurations. The vehicle will open for pre-orders on August 25th and complete its launch and delivery in September.
