Spy shots of the Hyundai IONIQ 3 production model have surfaced. Built on the E-GMP platform with a 400V architecture, the all-electric compact SUV is slated for a mid-2026 debut. The heavily camouflaged prototype reveals a design closely aligned with the concept, featuring a closed grille and split-type headlights.

Mazda Malaysia expands the C-segment Mazda 3 line-up with the 1.5G High Plus, offered as both Liftback and Sedan. Priced at RM119,620, the Japan-made (CBU) variant mirrors the 2.0 High Plus spec: full-LED headlights with AHB, 18-inch alloys, dual-zone climate, power leather seats, HUD, wireless charging, 10.25-inch connected display and full ADAS. A 1.5L SkyActiv-G (118 hp/153 Nm) paired with a 6AT delivers 5.9 L/100 km, cutting the entry cost by RM46k while retaining a 5-year/100k km warranty and free service package.

On 5 Nov 2025, Zeekr launched the facelifted Zeekr X compact electric SUV in three trims. MSRP ranges from RMB 155,800 to 175,800, but a trade-in incentive cuts the price to RMB 145,800-165,800 until 31 Dec. The 2,750-mm-wheelbase model retains its minimalist design, adds six new colors and features a 14.6-inch sliding center screen, 50 W wireless phone charging and a 5.7-liter central refrigerator. Early orders receive up to RMB 34,000 in limited-time benefits.

Alongside the new Mazda 3 1.5G High Plus, Mazda Malaysia debuted the facelifted third-gen BT-50 pick-up, offered solely in 3.0 High Plus guise at RM140,418 with a 5-year/100,000-km warranty. Sharing its platform with the Isuzu D-Max, the refreshed BT-50 pairs a 3.0 L 4-cyl. turbo-diesel (188 hp/450 Nm) to a 6AT and 4WD, claiming 7.76 L/100 km. Exterior updates include L-shaped DRLs, a thicker grille and new 18-inch alloys; inside, a 9-inch connected touchscreen, leather power seats and dual-zone climate are standard, together with full ADAS suite—ACC, AEB, LDW, BSM, RCTA and AHB.

Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has officially confirmed its return to the Malaysian market, launching a local website and social media channels while opening pre-registrations for the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV. Both models will be introduced in the high-performance Veloce trim, powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 280 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Giulia features rear-wheel drive, while the Stelvio comes with all-wheel drive, both capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 5.7 seconds. Stellantis had previously signalled the brand’s return in March 2024 by establishing a national sales company and showcasing the Tonale SUV in Gurun, Kedah. Future local assembly could further strengthen Alfa Romeo’s competitiveness in the premium segment.
