The 2026 Changan X5 PLUS has officially launched with five models priced from 69,900 to 103,900 RMB, with a limited-time offer price range of 59,900 to 83,900 RMB. The new model also comes with four major purchasing benefits. It continues the family design, featuring a sporty appearance with dimensions of 4540/1860/1590 (1620) mm and a wheelbase of 2715 mm. The interior is equipped with a 30-inch wraparound triple screen and FaceID recognition system. Power comes from a 1.5T Blue Whale engine with a maximum power of 141 kW and a maximum torque of 310 N·m, matched with a manual or 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, and features the i-EM intelligent energy management system.

Arcfox T1 has started blind orders, with display vehicles arriving at over 500 stores in 214 cities nationwide. The pre-sales launch event will be held at 19:30 on August 22. The vehicle features the ARC-FLOW concept design language, with a rounded body and a narrow-top, wide-bottom rear design. The distinctive taillights and spoiler add a sporty touch. Rumors suggest that Proton is planning a new Saga sub-brand, and designer Theophilus Chin has created a "hypothetical" Proton Saga Cross SUV to compete with models like the Perodua Ativa, Honda WR-V, and Chery Tiggo Cross. Proton is currently awaiting the launch of the Saga MC3, codenamed AMA01, which is the first model based on the new A-segment Modular Architecture. Ford's Pacheco Plant has celebrated the production of its 3.5 millionth vehicle since its inauguration in 1961, consolidating its position as a strategic manufacturing hub in the region. The plant has produced iconic vehicles such as the Falcon, F-100, Fairlane, Taunus, Sierra, and Ranger. The Ranger, which accounts for about one-third of the total production, redefined the mid-size pickup segment in 2023 with its new generation. The Pacheco Plant is a key global production center for Ford, exporting around 70% of its production to various Latin American markets. Committed to meeting local and regional consumer demands, Ford continues to invest in the Pacheco Plant, recently announcing a $700 million investment for the production of the new generation of Ranger, positioning the plant as one of the most modern and competitive in the region.

On August 19, Nio announced that it will launch its first right-hand drive model, the Firefly EV, in Singapore in 2026 in partnership with Wearnes Automotive. First launched in China in December 2024, the Firefly EV is available in two variants priced at 119,800 and 125,800 yuan. With the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, the base Free (Zizai) variant is priced at 79,800 yuan, while the top-spec Luminous (Faguang) variant is priced at 85,800 yuan. Both variants feature a 42.1-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a rear electric motor with 143 PS and 200 Nm of torque, offering a CLTC-rated range of 420 km. The EV supports 100 kW DC fast charging and 7 kW AC charging, and comes with a 3.68 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) system. Measuring 4,003 mm long, 1,781 mm wide, and 1,557 mm tall with a 2,615 mm wheelbase, the five-seat Firefly EV is positioned as a compact vehicle. The entry into Singapore is part of Nio's global expansion plan, which also includes launching multiple models in Costa Rica and Uzbekistan.
